— Two weeks later —

|2:57 PM, Friday, back at Jujutsu Tech|

You left the school an hour ago to pick up Kazuki but as you were driving home you realized that you forgot your jacket at the school. You were in a hurry earlier that you didn't notice leaving it on Yaga's desk.

Since you won't be back until Monday, you just came back to get it.

"Kazu, I'll be right back. Don't leave the car, okay?" You stated, glancing at his confused dark blue eyes in the backseat.

He had just woken up not long ago so he sat there, still completely strapped in his car seat, "Okay." He answered with a nod.

"Here, you can play with my phone while you wait." You said, handing it to him.

Turning back to the front, you opened the door and went on your way. Since it wasn't a hot day, you just left him in the car with the windows halfway down.

— Meanwhile —

The three year old sat still, eyes wondering outside the windows. He was asleep during the whole drive, thinking that they were going home. Instead, he wakes up to an unfamiliar place, where large green trees crowded his surroundings.

He watched the leaves sway gracefully as the fresh wind blew past them.

Yawning, he switched his gaze to the phone in his hands, deciding what to do with it, but instead, his mind started to drift somewhere else.

He had been keeping a secret from his mom.

He started seeing these small bizarre looking creatures at school recently. He had been ignoring them while observing the people around him. And for the past few days, he noticed one thing. None of them seemed to be able to see the creatures.

He wanted to tell (Y/n) but he didn't know how to tell her without making her think that he's just imagining things.

Worries aside, the little boy found this new discovery intriguing. What were they? They looked like some type of deformed animals with strange behaviors. He wanted to find out more about them and why his classmates or his teacher couldn't see them.

Somewhere within the vast forest of trees, two loud barking noises echoed, snapping the child back into reality. He blinked at the rectangular shaped object in his hands. Sitting up, he peeked outside the window to see if his mom was coming back. After checking all five windows and still seeing no trace of her, he relaxed back into his car seat slightly kicking his feet out as he began to get bored. What was taking her so long? His butt cheeks were starting to sting from sitting too long.

He placed the phone on his side so he could start unbuckling the seatbelts but before he could do so the phone suddenly started to ring. His small body took a quick screenshot before glaring at the object that almost gave him a heart attack. He grabbed it and checked for who was calling.

'No Caller ID'

He stared at it for a moment before pressing the red button. It wasn't long until it started to ring again. But just like the first call, he drops it.
