I sat in my last class before lunch, filling out the question sheet thoughtlessly. My mind was on that note and questions ran through my head. Who the hell was watching? Why did Matt pretend to not know me? I flashed back to reality when a note landed on my now finished work sheet.

What's up? You seem distance
-Em

Sorry, thinking about when parents are coming home.
Liz

I wrote a quick reply and tossed it back. I had never lied about anything to Em, unless it was really important. If I had to I would trust her with my life, but this was far too important. Matt had told me everything, he never had hide anything. So if he hide who was watching then something was at risk.

The bell rang and everyone stood up, tossing things into their bags. Unlike everyone else I wasn't in a rush and put everything in neatly. Looking up at where Em was I saw nothing, I shrugged it off as she wanted to hang out with her new crush. Pulling my backpack onto my back I left the classroom.

I sat in the library, copying notes down from a textbook for next period revision. I heard a chair being pulled up infront of me causing me to look up. There sat the same boy that had caused me to have troubled thoughts. "Hey Lizzy." He grinned.

"I thought we weren't meant to know each other..." I mumbled, not being able to keep the smile off my face.

"They won't be hear. I know it."

"Speaking of which, who are they?" I questioned, putting my pen into my pocket. Matt's expression changed as he stood up.

"I'm sorry Liz...I can't say." He explained, moving close. Before I could say anything I felt him kiss my cheek and walk away.

This is probably really short, sorry.
