I gasped, I instantly noticed his Grammies sitting proudly on a pure white shelf and just below that was a big black leather chair. He went and sat in it. "No-one's been in here before, not even my manager" I stepped forward and sat on the little wooden chair in the corner "what is on here?" I looked around. "All my memories, I go here when I'm sad and I want to get away from everything" he looked away sad. I didn't know what to say, I felt honoured that he picked me to see it but I don't know why. It was weird because I used to have something like this in my old house where I put everything that made me happy in a little cupboard where I used to go and sit. "Did you ever have a room like this Jemma?" I jolted up, had he just read my mind!? "Yeah I did... How did you know?" He smiled "it's all over your face" I chuckled "oh". Sam then closed his eyes and I thought he was thinking but then he starts to quietly sing. "Are you okay?" I interrupted him. "Yeah" he smiles, "I like singing little lullaby's that my mum used to sing to me when it's quiet" I thought that was adorable.
He stood up and gently stroke some pictures on the wall. It was a framed photo of him and his sisters. I saw him grinning, I could see that he missed them. "How did you even create this room in the first place?" He sighed "when I first started singing, some people were horrible to me on Twitter and that and I didn't know how to cope with it" I looked straight at him "but you had equal people who loved your voice!" He smiled with his eyes. "I know that now but I didn't realise it then." I didn't know what to say... He was looting his heart out to me and I didn't think I was being very helpful.
"You can't keep thinking of the past, look at you now an album which sold out and went straight to the top of the chart! Like all your songs that you released have been in the top 10! Not many artists could do that!" He turned right round now, "your right" he said unconvincingly. "I don't think you know how many fans you've got and how famous you actually are!" He laughed "I don't think so!" I got frustrated " for gods sake Sam, you nearly got the same amount of Grammies as Adele for fucks sake!" He looked surprised. " sorry I didn't mean to swear". He smiled " it's fine, your just trying to prove your point!" I was and I was going to convince him to see what he really was.
