A dream come true

I love all artists and bands but Sam smith is my all time favourite. I love his voice and he's just adorable. I follow him everything and I was scrolling through his Instagram (samsmithworld) and saw a competition he's literally just posted, no-one had liked It or commented yet. I was so excited it said you could have a chance to meet him at Nando's and all you had to do was like comment and share! I was the first person but I knew that wouldn't mean I'd definitely win but I was hopeful! After about 10 minutes over a 1000 people had done the same thing I Started coming back to reality saying don't get your hopes up and at least he knows your fan....
You would find a week later. God that was the worst week of my life it's all I Could think about, what chance have I got? Like 1 in a million😑
It got to Saturday and I was glued to my phone waiting for anything to happen. They said they would dm you if you won or not so I was bound to get something😏 it got to 1 in the afternoon - nothing. Got to 4 - nothing. I started to get upset and angry but I told myself stop it they'll message you soon.
Had to go to bed but I turned the volume up loud on my phone just in case I get a message.... Went to sleep quite sad to be honest.
Woke up the next morning leaving my phone next to bed and got ready for school. Completely forgot about it and went to school. Told Emily and my friends about it and they told me don't worry probably a fake anyway. Emily said "have you got your phone?" I replied "no haven't looked at it all morning".
Walking home I wondered why I didn't look at my phone? What if they messaged me? I jogged the last bit and ran up the stairs, chucked my stuff on the floor and grabbed my phone. Nothing. I sighed "what the fuck" I said out loud. About an hour later after doing my homework I heard a loud ping from my phone.... I don't k ow where t was though as earlier I got angry and chucked it somewhere. I started throwing pillows up and searching the floor. I finally found it underneath the pile of clothes on the floor. I unlocked my phone....
Oh. My. Fucking. God.
