"Alright, "

Caleb sat down on the floor in front of the couch, beside Sadie, a bowl of popcorn in his lap.

Sadie leaned into him, and Caleb pressed a kiss on top of her head.

Seeing this, Millie smiled. She was ecstatic to hear that Caleb had found someone who understood him and accepted him as he was. Caleb had dated a few girls in high school and college, but all of them had not accepted some parts of him. Some were jealous of his close relationship with Millie, and some were not able to handle his severe mood swings back then.

Looking at Sadie and Caleb, Millie knew that Sadie acknowledged and loved all parts of him. She supported him about his past, his present and his future. What more did he need?

"What are we watching?" Caleb asked, stuffing popcorn in his mouth.

Finn turned on the television and said, "We are watching The Lion King, "

Groans echoed around the room. The rest of them, which included Noah, Jack, Jaeden, Maddie, Gaten, Lilia, and Sophia, were hoping for an R rated movie. But they should have realized that with a six-year-old in the house, they obviously were going to watch Disney and Pixar movies.

"Hey!" Millie and Kai said in unison, their eyebrows furrowing in the exact same way.

"It happens to be our favourite movie, you know!" Millie said. She pouted and turned towards her son, "Don't listen to them, baby. They don't know the classics, "

Jack shook his head, laughing under his breath. Sophia rolled her eyes. Finn chuckled and leaned down to press a kiss on top of Kai's curls.

Sadie grabbed the remote from beside her and pressed the play button. Kai jumped excitedly from his place, and the others could not help but laugh at how adorable he was. The opening credits started slowly, and Millie bit her lip, trying to contain her excitement and act like a responsible adult.

The bowl of popcorn was passed around. Everyone's eyes were fixed on the screen, and despite the others complaining about watching a Disney film, they were enjoying it. Of course, they would never admit it to Millie or Kai, they had too much pride to do that.

Kai whispered the dialogues of the movie, as he snuggled closer to Finn. Grabbing his mum's hand, he pulled it around him and attached it to Finn's waist. Millie's cheeks heated up, but Finn only laughed slightly at her, before he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer.

"Is this okay?" He whispered in her ear. His warm breath tickled her ear, and she could find it in herself to stop the smile that formed on her face.

She turned her head slightly, resting it on his shoulder, and she murmured, "Yes, it's okay. Is this okay?"

Finn smiled at her and mumbled, "It's wonderful, "

She smiled, and they resumed watching the movie.

Millie had seen the movie multiple times. She remembered every dialogue, every lyric. So instead she decided to look around the room. Noah and Jack were cuddled on one of the couches. Sophia was busy on her phone, pretending to look uninterested in the movie. Jaeden and Maddie were whispering something to each other. Gaten and Lilia were enthralled by the movie.

Millie smiled and turned her attention back to the film. She cuddled closer to Finn and Kai, her arms tightening around them. The scene playing on the screen was one that she absolutely hated. It made her cry every time, despite already knowing what was going to happen.

Little sniffles broke around the room, as Simba realised that Mufasa was dead. Noah was sobbing in Jack's chest. Sophia rolled her eyes at him and mumbled something about Noah being weak. Lilia and Gaten distracted themselves, not wanting to cry in front of others. Millie was softly sniffling, burying her face in Finn's shoulder to muffle the sound. Below them, Sadie and Caleb continued to stuff their mouth with popcorn.
