After the incident, four distinct factions came together with their own separate plans. All of them were centering their plans on Itadori Yuji and Ryoumen Sukuna. Three gathered for the Tokyo-Kyoto exchange event while the fourth gathered in a place on the edges of the city.
They kept Gojo Satoru busy with planning and preparation for the event and missions during his free time. He had been forced to keep busy to distance himself from his students by the higher ups who had plans to eliminate Itadori via an accident during the event.
The Kyoto group, staying in a temporary living space, made plans on how to eliminate Itadori. Their opinion hadn't been unified but they had no choice, most choosing to go through with the plan. Gakuganji, their principal, reminded them it had been their duty as sorcerer according to the rules which had stood for thousands of years.
The cursed spirits and curse users under Getou were preparing to launch a minor attack, testing the limits of the schools and their defenses. Their goal had been divided between distraction and infiltration.
The fourth faction remained silent, a plan spanning years. There was no definite end nor goal. They were unknown, nameless, and unidentifiable.
While these factions converged, the students of Tokyo Jujutsu High continued to strategize. Maki lead the effort, designating roles,"We're splitting into two teams. Team one will consist of Yuji, Toge, and Panda. Your primary focus is Todo if we run into him. Team two will be Nobara, Fushiguro, and myself. We'll focus on the cursed spirits and will split off immediately if we run into Todo."
"Why are we going after Todo?"Yuji asked.
"Because according to Fushiguro, you're stronger than me even without cursed energy. Toge can slow him down, but keep in mind he can only do so a limited amount of times. Panda is there to protect Toge as a rear guard,"she explained,"Any more questions?"
"No. Makes sense, I guess."
"When they release the primary target, we're splitting up. If you can avoid it, don't bother with the Kyoto students at that point,"she said,"Also, we don't know much about them aside from Kamo Noritoshi and Zenin Mai while they know about Fushiguro, Toge, and me. Be careful."
"How do they know?"Yuji mumbled.
"The Kamo and Zenin family's techniques are well known because they're passed down. Toge is from a lesser but known clan as well. Mai and Maki are sisters so they know each other best,"Panda explained.
"That's... inconvenient,"Yuji said,"So does that mean some curse users know, too?"
"Absolutely. That's why it's important not to rely on cursed technique alone,"Fushiguro said,"It's one of the reasons I fight alongside my shikigami. No one expects it and no expects me to be able to fight well either."
"We don't have any advantages, do we?"he asked, feeling mildly discouraged by the odds.
"No. They're full of themselves because we're taking first year students in this year. They're underestimating us,"Maki said, looking smug,"Just follow my policy. Take the free shot and give them hell for looking down on you."
Yuji nodded, excited for his first official school competition,"We should celebrate."
"The main dining hall is open for students. I'm sure we can put something together,"Panda said.
"Yuji,"Nobara said,"You have to! Have to!"
"Have to what?"Maki asked, confused by her sudden outburst.
"Yuji is like a professional chef when it comes to simple stuff,"Nobara said,"It's not fine dining but it's still super good."
"I'm glad you think so,"Yuji said,"My grandpa always said I use too much flavoring. Didn't stop him from getting seconds, though."
