Yuji wasn't the best judge of character, but he liked to believe he knew a thing or two about the kind of person their target was based on a few simple factors alone: One: Junpei was the victim of bullying and it was well known. Two: He didn't seem old enough to understand what he'd gotten tangled into. Yuji was sharing his body with a curse thousands of years old and he still really didn't understand all that much either. He felt sympathetic, on a level, long before he met their target.

"That's going to get someone killed,"Sukuna taunted from the back of his mind,"What if he grew up into this?"

"Benefit of the doubt,"Yuji mumbled, sinking into the seat of the car,"I'm more worried about Nanamin. Adults like him have a weird way of making me worry about them all the time."

"You shouldn't worry about it,"Ijichi said,"Nanami is an experienced sorcerer and he is one of the few willing to live to fight another day."

"Willing and able are two completely different things, but I trust him to come back,"Yuji huffed,"He's the one who's going to kick my ass if I'm still around a couple years from now since we know Gojo won't."

"That's an awfully 'optimistic' way to look at it, I guess,"Ijichi said while fixing his glasses.

"Of course it is. Being sad won't change anything. I've got people to protect, most of them just don't know it yet."

It took hours of rolling around several neighborhoods before they found him, skipping school and strolling around as if he weren't being a delinquent. Yuji grimaced,"He's wasting his high school years like this. He doesn't seem like he has too many responsibilities."

"He's been skipping school regularly these days,"Ijichi said, hauling a cage up from the floorboard of the vehicle,"We'll be using less convenient means to decide whether we should bring him in for questioning."

"Why can't we just talk to him? That's what Fushiguro did with me,"he complained,"This is so complicated."

"Because we don't know anything about him aside from that fact he had been the sole survivor in the theatre. What if he's a curse user?"Ijichi asked.

"I guess you have a point. I'm going to tease Fushiguro about this later,"he grinned,"He really just openly approached someone possibly holding onto a special grade cursed object."

Ijichi and Yuji got out of the car, careful to stay out of sight as he turned into the back roads,"When I release these, one of four things are going to happen: One: Junpei is completely normal and you're going to have to save him. Two: He has no means to protect himself, and we're going to have to convince him to come in for questions. Three: He can used cursed technique and we have to restrain and arrest him by any means. Four: Junpei is a grade two curse user and we're going to retreat."

"I can probably beat a grade two,"Yuji said, pride slightly wounded.

"That's not the point,"he explained,"A grade two sorcerer always is stronger than a grade two curse."

"I could still do it,"he looked at his hands,"But I don't think I can restrain him, so I get it. We run."

Ijichi ignored what that implied, releasing the flyheads. They headed towards their intended target and Junpei looked confused, never having run into anything quite like them. There wasn't any reaction aside from a shocked stare and so they had to step in. By they, it had to be Yuji because Ijichi wasn't suited to chasing the bastards down quite like him,"Hey, we have some questions for you!"

They ended up sitting by the river, waiting to get in contact with Ijichi who chased after the second flyhead. Yuji brushed his hair back,"I'm not supposed to be the one handling this, Ijichi. Why'd you run off like that? I could've caught it myself if I didn't have to wait with Junpei."
