This story is about three families
1) The Malik's
Amjad Malik - A soft hearted business man. Allah fearing person. A wonderful dad and caring loving and romantic husband. He is in his late 40's. He has given full freedom to his daughters to live their live as they want. He is guider and mentor to them. He loves to sing old romantic songs for his wife
Rukshar Malik - A soft and very pious lady. Home maker and best wife and lovely friend to her two lovely daughters.
Zara Malik - A beautiful would be a doctor soon as she doing her internship and only six months are left for her to hold her degree and making her parents proud. Always there to help and support anyone in hours of need.
Sara Malik - Bold, independent and most mischievous person in the house. She is younger sister of Zara and younger daughter of Amjad and Rukshar. Studying her LLB and is titled as 'Sleeping beauty' by remaining three family members

2) The Khan's
Javed Khan - Owner of Khan industries. A self made man and multi millionaire. He has everything in his life. A lovely family which has a cute daughter and a handsome son and also a handsome nephew and a lovely sister in law whom he always consider as a younger sister.
Zain Khan - Handsome and dashing mafia king. His aura speaks power and dominance. He is a ruthless, cold-hearted person for the world but loves his family a lot. He is the CEO of Khan industries.
Falak Khan - The princess of Khan family. She is pampered but not a spoil rich girl but a soft spoken polite and open hearted girl who loves to help everyone in her surrounding. Her thinking is if Allah has bless us with money then we should do charity and help needy people.
Nausheen Khan - She is address as Chachi Jaan by Falak and Zain and Nausheen behan by Javed Khan. She is mother of Azar. Her husband Sohel died in a plane crash when Azar her son was just a one week old new born child. Her aura speaks power. She is a socialized person and people respect her for her presents of mind and power.
Azar Khan - COO (Chief Operations Officer) of Khan industries and second in command of Zain in Mafia world. He is know for his perfection in both the world. Cold hearted and ruthless as Zain but loves to take care of his family.

3) The Shaikh's
Rafique Shaikh - A cold hearted business man. He is only after money but pretends to the world it is not like that. Very few people know his true colors. He is in his late 40's. Rukshar and Rafique are brother and sister so he accepted Zara as his would be daughter in law.
Farida Shaikh - Mother of Imran Shaikh and wife of Rafique. Egoistic, arrogant and loves profit whether monetary or social, and would be mother in law of Zara Malik and is sister in law of Rukshar.
Imran Shaikh - An automobile engineer working with a reputed company. Earns in lacs per month and in love with Zara from school days. So their family agreed to it.

Zara and Imran are engaged and will be getting married after 15 days, as Imran has to leave for London for next 10 days because of a business conference, and after marriage would be going back to London for 2 years. So the Shaikh's and Malik's want them to get married before Imran going for two years and after coming back from conference.
