And I remember how much you hated adjectives. I remember how you used to lay next to me and told me how my eyes reminded you of a waterfall and how my smile was like happiness. But you never told me that I had a beautiful smile or powerful eyes. I remember how you told me that my laugh was like a sunset or how much you loved the wrinkles I had in my eyes when I smiled

And now I realize why you hated adjectives; those words that describe what you're feeling.

You loved poetry and you saw poetry in the simplest things of nature, That's why you fell in love with me.

But even the poorest poet knows that the best poetry is the one you can't describe.
