"And then he told us we were having a pop quiz!" Suga moved his hands expressingly as he took a sip from his straw.

"Are you sure that's the only thing bothering you?" His best friend raised an eyebrow. "Besides, I can barely see anything on your sweater."

"Don't lie, Daichi." He deadpanned. "I've been getting stares all morning."

The dark-haired guy shook his head and looked out the window from the booth they were sitting in. It was a habit he held from their high school days, eyes always wandering to somewhere out there, never within.

"How's your timer?" He asked.

As Suga popped a french fry in his mouth, he coughed at the question, pretending to choke for a few seconds.

"Gr-Great." He pounded his fist to his chest.

Daichi reached over the table and turned the smaller boy's wrist over, attempting to read the numbers. "Still get nightmares?"

He withdrew his arm, holding it to his chest. He faked a look of offense at having been touched before picking up another fry.

Before the tan boy could open his mouth to repeat the question, the door a few booths away opened and the bell above it jingled.

Suga who had his back to the door felt the need to peer over his shoulder given the way his best friend's eyebrows were furrowed in a deep set of bewilderment.

There stood an olive-skinned boy with spiky black hair and the guy Suga had met in the restroom only hours beforehand. They were standing at the counter, giving the waitress their orders. Seeing the two together finally got the gears working in his head. He turned his head back around and leaned forward so that he could lower his voice.

"Didn't we play against them two years ago?"

He nodded. "Iwaizumi and Oikawa."

Hearing the sound of their names, they turned around, paper bags in hand, their eyes momentarily scanning the slightly bustling fast-food place before landing on them.

Oikawa smirked, his dark-colored eyes scrutinizing the still visible stain on Suga's sweater, as he and Iwaizumi exchanged a few words before making their way to the very booth he and Daichi were sitting in.

"If it isn't the crows," He pointed at the two with the hand that was holding his bag of food.

Daichi laughed, "It is."

"Mind if we join you?" Iwaizumi chimed in.

The pair made room for their former volleyball rivals as they scooted closer to the window, sliding their trays down the table.

Oikawa had made himself comfortable sitting beside Suga as he turned to look at him. "If it isn't 'coffee stain!'"

"Hot chocolate," He corrected him, rubbing the nape of his neck.

Iwaizumi kicked him from under the table (To which Oikawa yelped) and glared at him. "Don't be rude."

Turning to Daichi and Suga, he smiled in place of the scowl he shot towards his friend. "It's crazy that we'd meet here again after all these years."
