A Brand New Life

As I put the last box into the trunk of my car I couldn't help but feel sad. I'm moving from Scaleswind to Phoenix Drop to leave behind the past. As I looked up and down my old house I remembered all of my happy memories from when I was younger.

But those memories we're years ago before my parents disappeared. The only family I have now is my little sister Lilith. She's five so she has very few memories of our parents. I got knocked out of my thoughts when Lilith started talking to me.

Lilith- Aphmoo, when are we going to the new house?

I looked down to see her grabbing my hand and pulling on it. I smiled at her and picked her up using my arms to make sure she doesn't fall. I kissed her on her cheek while she giggled. After we had our sister moment we checked the house to make sure we had everything. Once it was all cleared we got in the car and drove off.

It was about a two hour drive so we left at noon so we had time to unpack. We followed the U-haul threw Scaleswind until it was a distance away. As I looked to the road I couldn't help but look threw the mirror to see Lilith sleeping. I quietly laughed making sure no to wake her up.

                 *Time Skip*

I pulled up to the new house with very mixed feelings. I was happy because both Lilith and I can have a brand new start. But I'm sad because I left all of my friends behind.

I opened the door and got out to the second row of the car. I lightly shook Lilith to wake her up. She fluttered her eyes as I picked her up and twirled her around. She giggled as we walked up to the house to explore.

The house was a beautiful purple and  had a huge front yard.

The inside was even more amazing. It had a big kitchen, with a nice dining room and a huge guest room. Upstairs was three bedrooms and a hall closet. The biggest room was mine and the walls were purple. The next room was Lilith's room that had blue walls. The final room was a guest room with plain white walls.

Each room was completed with a decent size bathroom and walk in closet.
