This dark night was soothing, the wind wasn't as chaotic as it were a few days ago.
I looked over at the television, sighing in relief due to the weather being a bit better now. Gladly enough, we will finally have a nice sunny day this week. Holy shit!
Dealing with a few windstorms this week sure was something. I had let out a deep sigh, tossing and turning on the couch, still forgetting that Sanford had left a few minutes ago. Resting my head on my arm, I let out a deep sigh, pulling my phone closer to my face, groaning.
"God damn it. Did he really have to leave?" I spoke to myself, turning on my back, holding my phone above my face, seconds before dropping it right on the bridge of my nose.

"SHIT!!-"

It has been a quick minute since I've called Sanford. Seriously. Remembering that he's left for the week and will come back under SOME circumstances. Yet, I had needed to talk to him. I had tried to not pick up the phone and dial in his number, it felt like this was just a test. He knows I call him too much, just to "make sure" he's okay. Like, of course he'll be fine! RIGHT? Right before I knew it, I dialed his number and called him. Right after he told me not to, I did anyways. "Yeah? Hello?"
"Come home, please." I felt pretty bad, well. No, I didn't. It sucks ASS staying home alone, so I wanted company. But why did I have to call him for no reason? He only said under SOME CIRCUMSTANCES, not whenever I wanted him to come back. But he still said "Sure, coming over." Surprised that he even decided to turn back and come home. Sliding off of the couch for a second, I picked up the remote, turning down the volume on the TV, changing the channel, watching while waiting for his arrival.

Few minutes later, surprisingly enough, I had heard the faint sound of keys jingling outside the front door. Gosh, he's hella quick.
Looking up from the ground, I make eye contact with my friend. He stood there in the doorway, chest rising and falling as he took in deep breaths. I had felt bad.
Sanford had to leave to do something with his family for a week, and I wanted him to turn back so we can just hang out, and do what we normally did when he was home, even though he was my best friend, I still really.. Missed him. Just having to not see him for a week was too long for me.

"What?"

"Can you stay? Just for a minute, Sanford."

Whilst Sanford had sat down, he glanced at Deimos for a slight second before calming down from the cold cushioning. "I really do apologize, Sanford I.. I just wanted to be with you for a bit longer, I'm sorry." He spoke, his deep voice had softened, for he had sounded comforted when Sanford was near him.
Raising an eyebrow to his words, Sanford leaned down, pulling Deimos' hood down, tilting his head a slight bit to look at the boys face.
"Dude.. I didn't want to leave you be, I apologize."
Those words had sounded awfully nice, yet also sarcastic. Though, his voice was awfully monotone, Deimos could still hear that he was being sincere.
"...Surprising." Deimos had muttered, sitting up, making eye contact with the other. Sanford flinched, scooting back, his back against the cushion.
Sanford inhaled deeply, exhaling through his mouth, Deimos sat up, getting a bit closer to him, his cheeks a bright red. Even more vibrant than the colors that had appeared onto their TV. He sat down between Sanford's legs, his hand caressing the boys cheek, taking his face in his hands as he breathed heavily.
