Crash Landing On You [Taehyung Fanfiction]

Part 24

Author's POV:

"E-eomma." Taehyung said as he quickly went towards her. His eyes became teary looking at her mother's weak state. Pale skin, pale lips, cold and dry eyes. The glow she had 6 years ago was no more there. The sparkle those eyes held disappeared. And the happiness her heart had treasured was lost so long ago.

"T-Taehyung?" She managed to speak as her lips curved upwards.

"My son, did you come h-here looking for eomma?" She asked but Taehyung just hugged her silently crying.

"Eomma m-missed you so much." She said as tears left her eyes.

"Y-you became s-so handsome." She said but Taehyung just cried. 

"E-eomma. Let's go home now?" He asked but his mom shook her head.

"Why?" Taehyung asked as his mother replied, "I have lived my life, son. R-raising you was the best thing that could've happened to me. Mom was so happy to have a son like you. I don't know how you came here but go back. Go back safe. Live a happy life. For your mother. Mom loves you more than anything. Mom loves you so so much, my dear lovely s-son.." Her voice trailed off as she closed her eyes in peace. 

"EOMMA!" Taehyung screamed shaking her but it was of no use. She closed her eyes in peace finally getting rid of all the pain she had been enduring.

"R-rest in peace." Taehyung said before hugging her body while crying. "Go to heaven, eomma." Taehyung said as he closed his eyes feeling her body turn cold. 

-Flashback of 20 years-

"Eomma will catch you!" Taehyung's mother said chasing Taehyung with a bowl of food. 

"You can't catch me! I am faster than Eomma!" Taehyung giggled as he kept running while his mother kept running after him.

"Ahh! Eomma is tired! My leg hurts!" Taehyung's mother said fake crying, when Taehyung saw her he came towards her before asking, "Are you fine, eomma?" 

"Eomma is fine and SMART!" She said catching Taehyung as they both laughed. 

"You are too innocent!" She said as Taehyung just pouted looking down. "Be a good boy and eat your food! You have to be a strong son of Eomma and kill all the bad guys like Superman!" She said as Taehyung said, "Superman Taehyung will protect his Eomma." 

-Present Time-

"I couldn't protect her.." Taehyung's voice cracked as Jin patted his back while saying, "It's fine. At least she knows you are safe and strong. Not everyone comes to save their loved ones to a rival country." 

"You did good, Hyung!" Jungkook said smiling at him. Taehyung felt comfort after listening to everyone's comforting words. 

-time skip-

"Suho?" Jin asked surprised as Suho entered the detention room. 

"I was asked to take care of you all. But little do they know, I can make your escape!" Suho said chuckling as everyone looked at him confused.

"How?" They asked as Suho replied, "Thanks to Y/N." 

"Now, come with me." He said as they all followed him outside and because the soldiers on guard were kind-hearted, they let them go out. 

"Get in the jeep, you all." He said.

"But what if Mr Kang gets to know about it?" Namjoon asked as Suho chuckled.

"My father exists for a reason." He said as everyone started laughing except for Taehyung who was confused.

"Ah, Suho's father is the Director of the General Political Bureau." Jin said as Taehyung let out an airy laugh.

"Mr Kang will be done once we find all proofs. But where do we even find it?" Hoseok asked as Suho said, "I collected some proofs from the spies in the South and it all makes sense." 

"Basically, Mr Kang was getting 1 million won every month from Mr Kim. And in these 6 years, he got uncountable profits, financial support and other facilities by helping Mr Kim keep Taehyung's mother away." Suho said.

"But why?" Taehyung asked as Suho sighed before sighing, "Actually, your father is related to every crime case available in the country, murder, illegal trafficking, drug deals, and he was once a robber as well." 

"Your mother was kind enough to think he changed. She loved him truly not knowing how evil he was. Later on, after you were born, your mother slowly got to know everything about his deeds and how he was planning to make you a monster like him. But your mother threatened him to give all the proofs to the police and if not, the NIS. And your father needed a way to keep her away from getting involved in his works and he trafficked her to North Korea with false accusations and..." Suho stopped looking at Taehyung whose eyes were now shedding painful tears. 

"Don't worry. His end is near. And Mr Kang's too. Everyone will get justice and you will be able to have a peaceful life in your country soon." Suho said as everyone listened carefully.
