In the 21st century, a deadly virus broke out which had resulted in the annihilation of the human race and the population being reduce to less than 2 million. Those that had survive emerged blind. Centuries later, the idea of vision exists only as a myth. To even speak of it is considered heresy. Yet on the off chance someone was to be gifted with such a thing, he or she would be prophesied as the chosen one...or a god

The Alkenny village is placed at the edge of the Payan kingdom, up in the mountains for centuries. A small tribe of 75 people, currently under the protection of the great chief-ton Baba Voss. The villagers in the tribe all believe in something other than what can be touched, heard and smelt and have govern a combination of mysticism and extreme democracy giving each villagers a right to vote in the welfare of the tribe.

Baba Voss is the most respected man in the whole village for his passion and drive with keeping the villagers safe from any potential danger that could harm it. Even with all the praise and admiration he gets from everyone he is still lonely. So when a pregnant lady came wondering into the village seeking refuge, he couldn't help but think that maybe it was destiny that brought her to this village. Of course she wasn't happily welcomed by every villagers and after countless questions aimed at her in regards to where she came from, why she isn't there and who the father of the baby is. It didn't help ease the villagers when she wouldn't clearly provided the answers they wanted. All she provided is her name, Maghra Some couldn't help but spread words of her possible being a witch and therefore having the witch finders come and take her away. But once Baba Voss had heard of these words going around, he advised the villagers to not go ahead with it or they will have to face his wrath.

Baba Voss had taken a strong liking to Maghra and vice versa. Both of them feeling a pull to each other and they couldn't bring it in them to stay away. Perhaps it was because they both have a past they wish to forget or move away from, that they were able to find some sort of comfort and understanding with each other. Baba Voss wasn't able to have kids of his own which broke his heart. So when he found himself having feeling for this wonderer, he couldn't help but question if it was really gods' doing, for bringing this women into his life and her being pregnant was the cherry on top. Baba Voss had always wanted a family of his own, his own tribe to protect and love. He had gone to seek advice to his closet friend and second in command, Wolfgang. Wolfgang and his wife Elowen have always been supportive and loyal companions to Baba Voss since the beginning. Once they heard about his enquiries on how he should act on his feelings, they encouraged him to confront the women and find his happiness. because even someone like Baba Voss needs happiness.

When it was announced to the villagers that Baba Voss was going to be married to Maghra, he could sense the doubt of the villagers. Although they trust Baba Voss, they still haven't fully accepted the women, but Baba Voss vowed to himself that no matter what he will love and protect his family from future threats and help raise the baby as if it was his own. When Wolfgang had confronted Baba Voss later about Elowens pregnancy, he couldn't help but feel a bit relief amongst the happiness for his friend. knowing that the child growing in the women he loves stomach will not be alone and they will have an unbreakable friendship that could rival his and Wolfgangs.
