Chapter four

"Do you think you got in?" Dabi asked me as we lay on the broken down couch together.
"Yeah definitely." I said as he ran his fingers through my hair.
"Are you nervous?" He questioned.
"No, it'll be easy. I just have to touch All Might to get his power then listen to everyone's minds and figure out if he's found a successor." I said.
"Yeah, but it could take a while." He said as he stopped playing with my hair setting his hand on my shoulder.
"It probably will, but I'm okay with that, Master needs me so I have to do it." I said quietly snuggling him a little harder, "What are you going to miss me?" I spoke jokingly.
"Not at all." He said chuckling.
"Yeah right." I said as I lifted my head up to look at him. We smile at each other before I put my head back down on his chest.
"You come back everyday so I won't miss you, cause we'll still see each other everyday still." He nodded.
After hanging out for a few hours and having small talk I finally stood to my feet stretching before I left.
"Well I got to go, hopefully the acceptance letter is here. It's been four days." I said grabbing my backpack off of the ground. Dabi grunted before sitting up on the couch.
"Alright sweatheart, I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked as he grabbed one of my hands and pulling me in front of him.
"Yeah." I nodded as he hugged my waist. He started putting his hand under my shirt behind my back. I placed my hand on his head messing with his hair. I try to backup but he was holding onto my waist tightly.
"I have to go." I mumbled giggling as he started lifting up my shirt slightly.
"No." He demanded as he put his other hand under my shirt and begins kissing my stomach.
"I'm going to get in trouble, I've been gone for too long." I said pulling his hair back making him look at me.
"Let go of me." I said using my quirk. His arms immediately drop from my waist to his side. I back up with a smirk on my face. He falls out of my trance and gives me a glare.
"I told you not to use your quirk on me." He hissed at me.
"You weren't listening to me." I replied smirking.
"I don't give a fuck don't use your quirk on me again." He insisted standing up. Dabi is 5'9 as I am only 5'4, I glanced up at him as he looked down at me with no expression.
"Did you hear me?" He said grabbing my face with his hands.
"Yeah, yeah." I nodded placing my hands on his wrists.
"Good." He replied with a smirk. He leaned down and pulled my face to his giving me a kiss. He let go of my face and plopped himself back onto the couch putting his arms on the head rest.
"Byeeee." I said in a sarcastic tone as I turn around leaving our hang out spot.
"Bye, tell me if you pass or not." He thought to himself.
"Will do." I said sending the message to his mind. I can only talk to other people in their minds if we're extremely close, Dabi is one of the two I can do this with.
"Be safe, by that I mean don't hurt anyone if they piss you off." He thought to himself as I closed the building door. I giggled at his response. Walking back to the hide out I notice a mail man heading for the stairs.
"Stop." I demanded quietly using my quirk causing the mail man to stop in his tracks. I grabbed the envelope he was holding, "Be on your way." I said making the mail man turn right around walking away. I let out a sigh as I walk up the stairs heading to the LOV bar. I open the door to see Black Mist sitting down on a bar stool.
"Hey." I said before plopping myself down on the bar stool next to him.
"Hey, how was your hang out session with your boyfriend." He questioned.
"Good." I said simply, "Wait- how do you know?" I asked growing concerned.
"You go to the same place everyday. It was just a hunch I had, you just confirmed it. Don't worry I won't say anything." He responded looking at me. I looked down and began playing with my hands.
"What are you holding?" Black Mist asked pointing at the envelope in my hand.
"Oh right, it's my letter from UA." I said looking at it.
"We'll open it!" He spat excitingly. I nodded as I gently opened the envelope. A round projector falls out onto the bar-top counter. All Might appeared through the projector.
"I am here! I came to this town not only to fight Villains, but to become a teacher at UA! Marise Aku you passed the written exam with 100% congratulations. But not only did you pass the written exam, you also passed the practical exam with 72 Villain points and 15 Rescue points, you did extraordinary." All Might paused, "It is my honor to welcome you to UA high school. School will be starting in three weeks, so be prepared to get your schedule in two weeks. I know you will do great things." All Might finished giving me a thumbs up before the projector powers off. I smiled as I adverted my gaze to Black Mist who was sitting next to me still.
"I knew you'd make it congratulations! You passed with flying colors it seems like." He expressed standing up, "Want a drink to celebrate?" He asked as he walked behind the bar. I nodded my head with a smile on my face. He grabbed a glass and put ice into it and then grabbed a Soju bottle from under the bar. He poured the glass half full before sliding it down the bar to me I take a sip of my drink as the screen turns on. I quickly stand to my feet and bow my head, "Master." I said before lifting my head.
"Marise. Did your letter come in?" He asked.
"Yes sir, I got accepted and will be finding out my class in two weeks. School starts in three weeks." I told him.
"Good. Do not fail Marise." He spoke in a serious tone.
"Of course sir." I nodded before the screen shuts off. I sighed as I plopped back down onto the chair.
"He's proud even if he won't say it." Black Mist reassured.
"Yeah I know." I said as I took large gulps of my drink till it was gone. I slammed the glass onto the counter as I stood up.
"Thanks." I said walking into the back room heading right towards my room. I slammed the door shut and plopped down onto my bed.
"I shouldn't of said anything." Black Mist thought to himself. I lay my head on my pillow when I felt my phone vibrating. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket to see who was calling me. I looked at the caller ID to see "Enlarged Bird Man" on my phone. I smirked as I saw the clever nickname I came up with when I was 10. I answered the call and put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey, are you okay?" Hawks asked in a concerned tone.
"Yeah, why?" I replied confused.
"Well um, you have one of my feathers and it's kinda getting hot as if it's about to burn." He muttered with a hint of pain.
I quickly grabbed my tank top and pulled it up to see steam coming from my stomach. I grabbed the feather and lift it up taking it off for the night.
"I'm sorry Keigo. I got pissed off I guess, I didn't mean to. Are you okay?" I asked as I put my tank top back down and I set the feather down on my night stand next to my bed.
"Yeah I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He paused, "Are you okay?" He asked reluctantly.
"Yeah, Black Mist just said something and I guess it pissed me off more than I thought." I responded clenching my jaw.
"Ah I see, well, be careful okay? Also have you gotten your letter from UA on if you were accepted or not?" He asked me curiously.
"Oh yeah, I got in. I get my schedule in two weeks and start school in three." I nodded. I could hear him chuckling "What are you laughing at?" I furrowed my brows.
"Nothing it's just funny. A nineteen going back to high school that's all." He said chuckling still.
"Haha, I'm hanging up now." I said moving the phone from my ear. I hear a faint "Byeee." From Keigo before I hang up the phone.
"Jerk." I said smiling at his comment.
"High school eh?" I thought to myself. I couldn't help but get a little excited. I haven't  gone to highschool since I was picked up off the street by All for One when I was only nine. I sat up as I grabbed the book I've been reading. I opened to my book mark and continued reading till I drifted off to sleep.
