2. Lunch date?

Once I got home I was watching tv until the doorbell rang. I got up and got it. It was the sandlot boys. Benny Isnt home guys. I said closing the door. The doorbell rang again. What now Boys? I asked. Where's Benny? Kenny asked. In Florida I responded. They all looked at me weird. Where's your parents? Bertram asked. With him obviously. I said. Why aren't you with them? Yeah yeah asked. Because okay I have to go! I said. They all barged into my house. What the hell guys! I yelled. What's going on. Ham asked. What do u mean? I asked. Why are you home alone? Tommy asked. Cause I'm sick I said *coughing*. Oh ok well leave you alone then. Smalls said. Thx boys, close the door on your way out. I turned around and entered the kitchen. I heard the door close so I assumed they left. I walked to the living room and I saw Alan. I've had the biggest crush on him ever since I moved back home from Tulsa. Umm Alan why are you still here. I asked. You may be able to fool the others but not me what's going on bubblegum. Okay some of bennys friends call me bubblegum because I'm always chewing  bubblegum. I'm fine Alan really. I hold him. Nope not falling for it your home alone why. He kept asking questions. I wish I could tell you. I muttered under my breath. Tell me what he asked. Ummm noting Alan go play baseball I'm fine. I kept telling him. No your going to be bored all day. He told me. How about I treat you to lunch at the diner? He offered. Really! I said. Of course I don't want you to be lonely all day. He said. Okay let me change brb. I told him. ( outfit on top)

We have arrived! He said. He opened the door for me. I thanked him and walked in. Hi how may I help you today? A lady asked. Table for two. Alan said. This way! The lady said. Alan grabbed my hand and said. Hey you ok u seem worked up? Im fine thanks for asking. I told him as I looked at our hands and tried not to blush. The lady gave us our table and said she will be back for our orders, then a girl I've seen at my school came to our table. Omg Alan hi how are you? She asked. Oh hi  Miranda I'm good. He said. Who's this? She asked looking at me  annoyed. Oh umm this is my GIRLFRIEND. Alan said. I choked on my water. Hi I'm y/n nice to meet you! I told her. She completely ignored me and said, since when do you have a girlfriend Alan? Miranda I asked you to stop calling me Alan, and do you mind? I'm on a date with my perfect girlfriend. He asked her. If you get bored of her, you know where to find me. She told Alan then took a dirty look at me then left. Sorry about saying you where my girl. Alan said. It's ok it was the best 5 minutes of my life. I told him. He laughed. Maybe you could really be my girl one day. I blushed. HARD. Hey don't go shy on me y/n. He said. I just smiled. May I take your order! A lady asked. Yes can I have a large vanilla milkshake please. Alan asked. Yes and for you miss. A basket of fries please. I asked. Okay that will be right out! She told us. So y/n what do you do for fun. Alan asked me. Oh well I usually do chores all day then I'll try and watch a dodger game with my dad and Benny, but usually I'm drawing all day in my room.I told him. You do chores all day? He asked. Y-Yea I like to keep the house clean. I said getting nervous. Oh okay..... He said. Your milkshake and fries! The lady said putting them down. Thank you I said. Aww your welcome enjoy your little date. She said walking away. I blushed. Yet again. Y/n? Alan asked. Yes. I responded. Do you know what goes good with milkshakes? He asked. No. I said. He grabbed one of my fries dipped it in the milkshake and ate it. Fries. He said. I laughed. Fries and milkshakes are a perfect duo. He said. I agree. I told him.

Alan payed for the lunch I did the tip. We are now walking to the sandlot hand in hand. So y/n you said you draw right. He asked me. Yeah why? I asked. Do you mind drawing the sandlot gang? He Asked me. Ofc let's go get my sketch book and my art supplies at my house I told him Turing around. Okay he said. I went up to my room and Alan followed. Y/n why aren't you in Florida with your family? He asked. I'll tell you one day Alan. I told him. Okay.. he said kinda sad. Alr let's go I said. I locked the door once we walked out and we began our walk. Can I look at ur drawings. Alan asked. Sure I said giving him my sketchbook. Umm y/n what is this he Asked. SHIT.
