"Julia wake up honey you need to start your day" my mother says as she sits on my bed shaking me. "What time is it mom i'm so tired" i respond back. "Julia you have a pageant today, we need to get you ready. I need you up in the shower so we can start your hair and makeup" my mom tells me. My mom is obsessed with pageants. When she was little she grew up watching pageants and wishing she was in one. She told herself she would have a daughter in the future and she would be a pageant princess wether she liked it or not. And that's how ken and my twin brother benny come into play. My parents are high school sweethearts. They've been together since young and planed to have one baby boy and one baby girl. A boy for my dad to play baseball with and a girl for my mom to dress up and send to pageants. Lucy for them me and benny came together, and we both do exactly what i parents want of us. Benny is amazing at baseball, and i win all my pageant competitions. we do it to make our parents happy. Our parents went to high school with none other than the parents of Jordan Phillips. Our moms were best friends along with our fathers. Our moms got pregnant at the same time, and knew they would raise there kids together. Since young Philips has been in me and benny's lives. Him and Benny were as close as brothers, until they got into a stupid argument over benny refusing to join a actual baseball league and putting his talent to use. Philips thought Benny should join his team and show case all of his amazing talent, benny interpreted the whole thing wrong and then well.. they cut each other off. Me and Philips have an amazing bond tho. His mom forces him to be escorts in pageants just like my mom forces me to be in them. One day our parents had the brilliant idea to pair us up and next thing you know me and Philips are 3 all dressed up in our first pageant.

"Mom i'm out the shower" i yell for my mom. "i'll be in a sec to curl your hair honey" she yells back. I sit down in my vanity and begin my skin care and hit shuffle on my playlist. I look at myself and mentally prepare myself for the long day me and Philips have ahead of ourselves.
