Kiba and Naruto had been roomates for about 2 years now, they enjoyed it and practically broke their backs, begging, to be eachothers roomates throughout the entire time they were at college. It was mainly Naruto's idea and Kiba just didn't want to deal with the guilt of hurting one of his closest friends so he complied. They were there for eachother through thick and thin, eventually bringing them ultimately closer, so close they had seen eachother naked, on multiple occasions. It was all by accident though, wrong timing, anyways that's not the point. Naruto was currently sick and Kiba was concerned as to why his fast healing fox like friend wasn't getting any better, it had been about a week since Naruto came down with the fever and in Kiba's eyes that was way too long, he didn't like the fact his friend was in agony and he just wished there was something he could do. He sat down next to the couch that Naruto had been laying on for the past two days pretty much, Kiba sighed and gently held Naruto's hand placing a soft kiss atop of it. Kiba had grown quite fond of the blonde, over the years his feelings of friendship became that of a longing, a want, he knew that he couldn't tell the other boy how he felt because he wasn't quite sure Naruto would like him back, or hell, even accepting him seemed untamable. All Kiba could do for now was wait for his friend to wake up and ask for food, it would give him something to do to keep his mind off of those thoughts.

3 hours have passed since then, daylight is starting to show and the sun is peaking out.

Naruto stirred awake from his deep slumber and yawned tiredly as he sat up, wrapped up in a thick and warm blanket, he remembered he had insisted he wore it the entire time due to being cold and eventually Kiba gave in, but he knew it wouldn't last long due to the motherly tendencies the other has sometimes. He admired Kiba for that, it made him feel wanted and cared for, and thats all he ever wanted in life. To be acknowledged and loved, he looked over at Kiba who was dozing off on the other side of the couch, 'man..did he really stay up all night? Again?' He thought to himself. Naruto gently made his way over to Kiba and hugged him before leaning his head on Kiba's shoulder and yawning "morning dog-breath." He said nonchalantly. Kiba smiled softly and patted Naruto's head, he changed the channel to cartoons and yawned quietly "morning sleepyhead, how was your rest?" He asked carefully, incase Naruto had fallen asleep again. Naruto whined and mumbled out a small "still tired.." he knew that sleeping too much could make him even sicker but god he felt completely drained and his body wasn't quite used to being sick. He didn't even know he was sick until he fainted in class and woke up in his dorm, Kiba had to carry him back and clean him up to make sure that Naruto was comfortable enough to go back to sleep, which worked, it surprised Kiba just how willing Naruto was to just, rest.

Kiba scoffed and gently pulled Naruto close to him, readjusting them before resting his hand on Naruto's head "you can go back to sleep dork I'm here to help, not completely stop you, but you only get 2 more hours, and thats only because I'm tired too.." he said quietly as Naruto relaxed into the newfound position, him laying his head on Kiba's chest and Kiba laying on his back on the couch. Naruto didn't hesitate to sigh and close his eyes, too exhausted to really care. Kiba soon enough had fallen asleep aswell, and thats how they remained for the rest of the day.
