Now, if this were any other fanfiction, it would end with CB refusing to admit defeat, and still insisting to this day he’s the true artist, and despite said insistence, he never sold another drawing.
It would end with the Warners never having to go back to the tower again, finding happiness with Otto von Scratchnsniff, who after apologizing to them for judging them so harshly, agreed to adopt them. After many years in Las Vegas, they all moved back to Los Angeles and opened a brand new gallery.
And it would end with confirmation that yes, Yakko still draws every single day, and many of his drawings are still being mass produced and shared all over the internet.
But this isn’t any other fanfiction. It’s reality, and rarely ever does reality ever work out that nice and neat.
To start, on that very same day at the courthouse, CB came running out of it, squawking even louder, as the crowd turned against him, and ultimately ran him out of town.
Needless to say, he was not seen again for quite some time.
The Warners, sadly, knew their time outside was running thin, and that by Yakko choosing to reveal himself as the true artist, would only serve to make it that much easier to track them down.
And so, after a tearful goodbye to their house in Las Vegas, as well as all their Grafitis Artist friends, they made the ultimate decision to go back to Burbank, taking care to sneak back into the tower unseen, at the tail end of the tower’s fumigation.
And yes, by the way, Yakko does still draw every day
Hello Nurse and Otto ultimately met up over coffee, and had a long talk, about art, the Warners, and everything they’ve been up to since leaving the studio.
It didn’t take long to realize they both missed working together, as well as working at the studio, and ultimately decided to come back as well.
The Grafitis Artists, while sad to see the Warners leave, still send them postcards every chance they get, and Yakko, in return, sends them postcards with his newest drawings proudly on display.
Eventually, Yakko Warner’s 5 year long stint as an artist gradually fades from people’s minds.
Even the people who have an original or poster hanging in their houses, when they look at it, are unable to recall where it came from, but still find themselves unable to part with it.
Wakko and Dot ultimately started to forget too, but curiously enough, when they watch Yakko draw, they always sit and watch, making sure to tell him how much they love his art.
And as for the courtroom drawing? Well, after the case was settled, it kind of disappeared. Many people who tuned in to watch the trial unfold also went to the gallery, hoping to buy it, or even a copy of it, only to be ultimately disappointed when they found the gallery had closed down, and all the drawings inside had disappeared as well.
Even the Grafitis Artists never see it, and though they always check the caption on the postcards, “Th-that’s All Folks!”, never once shows up on any of them.
Ultimately, the Grafitis Artists stopped asking, choosing instead to just be happy with the ones Yakko does choose to send.
There's Yakko now, who's just standing up after a 2 hour period working on his newest creation, telling Wakko and Dot.
"Alright, sibs, I gotta take a break."
This of course, is immediately met with protests, "Awwwww!" "Not faboo!" as they march off on their own.
Yakko rolls his eyes, but just moves to the kitchen, thankful his eyes have readjusted to the dark so he can see what he's doing.
As he sips his juice, his eyes drift to a very particular drawing.
Before he can stop himself, as he starts walking back to his little makeshift studio, he sings under his breath,
"Chicken Boo, what's the matter with you?
You don't act like the other chickens do.
You wear a disguise to look like human guys,
But you're not a man, you're a Chicken Boo."
