We had arrived at the venue a few hours ago. The boys were going through soundcheck while various helpers, including myself, set up the space. I was finishing putting together the merch table when I heard my name being called through the microphone.

"Babe!" Remington called from stage, motioning for me to come to him.

As I walked through the aisles of chairs and through the empty mosh pit, I realized that Remington and I were the only ones around.

"Where'd everyone go?" I asked Remington as he grabbed my hand and helped me up onto the stage.

"They went to rest before the show." He explained before turning away from me and making his way over to one of the metal pillars  that stood on the far side of the stage.

"What do you think you're doing?" I asked as he began to climb the pillar.

"You'll see." He replied, laughing slightly as he slid his way onto the rafters.

"Tada!" He said, now hanging directly above me by his feet, his arms dangling down, and his finger tips toughing the top of my hair.

"You know, if you keep doing this, more venues are going to stop allowing you to play there." I giggled, raising my hands to grab his.

"Hey, that only happened once and that was because some asshole thought that I'd be so careless to harm my own fans." Remington huffed, his face starting to turn slightly red from hanging upside down.

I watched intently as Remington let go of my hands, curling his upper half back up so he could grip the rafters with all fours. His shirt hung off his body, exposing his toned abdomen as he made his way back down to me.

"You should try it, its fun." He said, slightly out of breath, now standing in front of me.

"I don't know...I haven't climbed anything since I was in elementary school." I replied hesitantly.

"Come on, I'll be right here to catch you if you fall." Remington said, I wide smile spread across his face.

"Alright, alright." I said, giving in to his infectious smile, walking over to the pillar, beginning to climb it.

"This is a nice view." He teased as I got closer to the top.

"Shut up and tell me what I do from here." I said, rolling my eyes as I tightly held onto the metal bars.

"Just grab the rafter with both hands and then once you get far enough, slowly lift your feet to slide across it, sorta like a sloth does with a tree." He explained.

"Alright, here goes nothing." I mumbled to myself, following Remington's previous instructions.

"Hey look, I did it!" I exclaimed, my legs and arms tightly wrapped around the metal.

"Try letting go with your hands." Remington said, looking up at me.

Before I was even able to protest, Remington stood under me, his arms reaching up incase I fell.

In no time, I was hanging off the rafters by my feet just like Remington was earlier.

"You're right, this is fun!" I exclaimed excitedly, swinging my body back and forth ever so slightly.

I was too distracted by feeling like a bat that I didn't realize Remington had moved.

"Hi." He said, now hanging directly in front of me.

I shrieked, realizing he was no longer below me incase I fell.

"What are you doing? You said you'd be down there incase I fall!"

"You won't fall, I promise." Remington reassured me, grabbing my hands with his own.

We dangled from the rafters together for awhile, occasionally swinging back and forth, trying to kiss each other. Once we finally succeeded, we heard footsteps below us. Disconnecting from each other's lips, we tilted our heads down to see who was below us.

"Really?" Emerson chuckled, his arms crossed over his chest.

"This isn't Spiderman. Concert starts in an hour." Sebastian added before walking off.

Emerson, just shook his head, laughing as he followed Sebastian.

"Guess we better get down."

"Yeah, I'm starting to not be able to feel my face." Remington laughed, swinging forward one last time to peck me on the lips.

"Me too." I replied before we both climbed down, walking hand in hand back to the dressing room to get ready for the show.
