Amez Caverly is an average 13 year old werewolf. Well, not exactly. She shifted at 12 years old on the first full moon after her birthday, she shifted into an average black wolf making her think she is a normal werewolf, not until her school excursion does she realise that fact is untrue. Her wolf reveals a hidden power when her campsite burns down that saves her class but also confuses them as to the sudden arrival of a wolf. As humans they decide that it was a gift from god and a warning to be more careful Amez is relieved to have her secret remain a secret but she now has the challenge of finding the mate her wolf is leading her to, even through the many challenges that she faces.
