"Run, run, run, run, wait... run!" You muttered under your breath. The uneven ground was slowing you down and Steve hadn't been kidding when he warned you that being in the field was very different from training.
"You know that we can hear you, right?" Clint said over the coms.
"Hey! Whatever gets us through the day! Fly, fly, glide." Sam said as he swooped through the trees, you could hear he was teasing you. But you'd almost reached your mark and didn't say anything. As you reached the last hill you tripped, grunting as your ankle twisted. Which sent you spiralling down the hill, sliding the wrong way, almost knocking Nat. She flipped out of the way and grabbed onto you, yanking you away from several shots that collided with the ground around you. You and Nat rolled away from the fire and towards your final position. You grunted as you landed, Nat on top of you for a moment before she started scrambling to her feet. "Are we dancing? Cause I got a few moves I know you'll like." She said as you stared up at her.
"I'm not much of a dancer." You mumbled as you heaved yourself to your feet, taking one of her hands as she helped pull you up.
"Yeah, not with how clumsy you are. Come on." She led the way to your position and covered you while you found the device that you'd been sent to.
"I found it, what do I do?" You asked.
"Plug... the thing into the thingie." Stark said. You looked up to where he was in the sky, trying to take out several missiles and cover Sam and Wanda.
"Um... there are six places to plug it in, does it matter which one?" You asked. Nat glanced at it and had to shoot somewhere behind you before you could help.
"The green one."
"They're all blue!" You said back quickly. You wiped the snow off the device and found that they really were all blue. Tony landed next to you.
"OK. Let's get this off." He yanked at the controls panel and opened it up. He mumbled to himself for a few moments before clearing his throat. "Right, see this blue one had a green wire? It needs to be plugged in there." He explained.
"We need more help!" Wanda called out. Tony was gone in a few seconds as you started finding the end of the wire. Natasha stayed close, watching for anyone who approached.
"I need another hand." You mumbled. She hurried to your side and crouched down. "Hold this here, please."
"Sure. Thing." She answered. You fumbled around in the box and managed to plug in the device. It started beeping and you watched several missiles drop.
"Where's the next one?" You asked.
"About a mile north." Clint answered.
"I'm going to need something to crack them open if they're all covered like this. But it shouldn't be too hard to take out another one while we're here." You said firmly.
"I've got a few tricks that could help. You've got some good moves though." Nat said to you. She grinned at you when you rolled your eyes. "I'm heading north with (Y/N), keeps us updated on the location we're aiming for."
