Worth

Worth
along with perception,
its definitions know no bounds
it can mean so much
it can make someone soar above the clouds
or it can kick someone so far into the dirt they don't want to live.
self-worth.
its importance is indescribable
yet i still long for it
even to feel it for a second
how could something so valuable
with so much worth
be stripped away in an instant
self worth is amazingand deadly at the same time
some who have none leavesome stay in this loop of pain
and hope to eventually be found
will I ever know if what I did was worth it?
 no.
 but I will wait
 I will sit here in this pit of despair
 waiting
waiting for someone to actually see I'mworth 
worth their time
worth their trust
worth not lying to
worth not putting down
worth not simply leaving
worth loving
love is corrupt
but love can help build us up
love can help pull us out of this pit of despair
love can push through the lies when true
love can save lives
 in the past I have been see as not worth
 but I shall wait
wait for the daythat someone sees my 
worth
