[Moonwatcher POV]
While I was waiting for Qibli and Winter, I wondered what I would do when they got here, eagerly, my heart beating as fast as the whispering winds surrounding me. I looked at Queen Thorn of the SandWings and asked her, "N-nice weather, eh?" and flashed a nervous smile.
"I suppose," came the Queen's response. "Do you think they will be surprised that I sent you a letter.... or?"
"I'm pretty sure they will be surprised" I said, then continued, "Because they have tiny pea brains, that is. Maybe I could wait with Kinkajou?"
Thorn nodded and replied, "Sure, I'll keep a look out for them." and with that, I flew into the palace to find her. When I found her, she was in a fight with Anemone because she thought that the SeaWing was abusing her best friend, Tamarin. I laughed, and startled the trio.
"Hey, Moon!" she said, "I was just interrogating Anemone because I'm pretty sure she was super-extra mean to Tamarin. See? She has that scratch on her underbelly."
"She had that a while ago," I mused. "Stop yelling at the poor child." I then snorted, and we all laughed.
