It was empty.

Her bedroom, where she had grown up.

It was awfully empty.

That was, because she would be leaving for college soon... She knew that she was going to miss her parents, her friends, Tikki; her little white cat, but most of all: New York.

The city in which she had dared to dream, about becoming a famous designer. The city in which she created her first dress in kindergarten -she smiled at the memory of the dress covered in glitters and bows everywhere- and her last in her bedroom, with actual fabric. The city in which she made friends, found someone who cared about her, but who broke her heart as well. The city that made her feel so happy, she was devastated of leaving behind.

She knew that she would fall in love with Paris as well, over time, but that it would never feel like home like New York would.

Marinette had spend the past few days cleaning up her room, packing her stuff, getting ready for college life. And when the day finally came that she had to say goodbye to her parents, friends and Tikki. And was dropped off at the airport, she felt alone. For the very first time in her life, she felt alone.

When she walked into the airport, she was early, her flight didn't leave for half an hour, so she took a seat and read some fashion magazines, to get inspired.

Suddenly someone sat down next to her and said: "Hello." Marinette looked up from her magazine to see a boy, with mysterious blue eyes and blue hair, lost in his eyes for a moment she didn't hear his next question. She quickly blinked back to the present "I'm sorry, but what did you say?" The boy grinned and repeated his question: "Where are you going to?"

"I'm going to Paris" she said, still a bit distracted by the boy's eyes.

"Oh, we are probably on the same flight then. On your way to college?"

"Yeah, Collège de Paris"

"Hey, I'm going there too, what is your major? Mine is Music."

"Mine Fashion and Design. I've wanted to become a fashion designer ever since i created my first dress in kindergarten. But if your major is Music, what instrument do you play? And do you also write music yourself?"

"Yeah, I play the guitar, and write some music myself sometimes. Actually, I could play you something."

After saying this, he took his guitar out of its case, and played her a lovely tune. She was amazed by the beauty of it. After this, they talked a bit longer before getting on the plane. "What's your name? I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng." "Well Marinette, it was a pleasure meeting you. I'm Luka Couffaine." And he was gone.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the plane, Marinette looked for her seat, and soon realized that she wasn't sitting alone: Her seat was at the window, while the seat next to it was occupied by a blond boy wearing a pair of sunglasses, around her age. "Excuse me, could you maybe stand up for a second? So that i can get to my seat?" The blond turned his head around and looked her up and down and smirked before... ignoring her completely.

What the hell does he think he is doing?!

So she climbed over his lap to get to her seat. Finally seated, she was as red as a tomato, because she pratically had shoved her ass up his face, and all the while he had just been grinning.

Pervert.

During the flight, the boy she had met at the airport was still on her mind. After her first and only boyfriend had cheated on her with her ex-best friend, she hated all boys, and didn't think there was a single decent guy out there. He had proved her wrong: Luka was cute, nice, caring, and passionate about the things he likes. I hope I see him again in Paris.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When Marinette arrived in Paris, she grabbed her suitcases and went outside for a cab. Her day really sucked: First having to say goodbye, then that stupid boy on the plane, and now this... rain storm. Ugh, great...

Lucky.

That was what she thought when an empty cab arrived. Hurrying toward the vehicle, she almost tripped into a puddle a rainwater, but was able to compose herself quickly. She opened the car door and... a man pushed her, HARD and took off in the cab, leaving her on the wet ground. Rain was pouring all over her, until in wasn't. She looked up to see an umbrella above her head, and a friendly face looking down at her. She got up fast, taking the umbrella the person was holding.

It wasn't until this very moment that she saw his face, and her brain said:

WOW!

He had blond hair that fell messily around his face, only the ends slightly curling outwards. Big emerald green eyes she could easily get lost in, and the sweetest smile IN THE WORLD! She found herself staring at him in admiration. He cleared his throat "Ugh some people at the airport are just so rude! Are you okay princess? You fell pretty hard..." She snapped out of her thoughts "Yeah, so rude..." she stared into his eyes once more "but, uhm, I h-have to go night row, uhm right n-now, gotta find another car, uh cab. Yes that's what i have to do" She started to walk away from him, but he shouted "Hey! I could give you a ride as well, just tell me where you need to go princess!" She turned around, hesitantly, and said "Alright, but first i need to know your name, since you're technically a stranger and all that" He brushed his hair out of his face and said:

"My name is Adrien Agreste, now will you get in the car? Its freezing!"

She laughed and walked toward the car, careful not to trip this time. At the car, he was already standing there, as a real gentleman, holding the door for her.

"After you m'lady." he said, a smirk plastered on his face.

She chuckled a bit at his weird behavior and got in the car.

Okay, so this is the first chapter... please tell me what you think, because this is my first book ever, and i think critisism is good to improve writing.

I hope that there even are people out there who want to read my crappy book, but anyway, I'll try and update regularly, but no promises because I am also still in school.

See u at the next chapter!
