"Adrien! Wake up! You need to get to the airport soon!""Yeah, yeah mom, I'll be down in a minute!"
I rubbed my eyes before opening them and sat up.
Quickly I got out of bed and got dressed, not wanting to miss my plane. I am going to Paris today, going to college today. It's all really exciting, moving to another city, meeting new people and Paris is ofcourse the city of love, and beautiful people. But, how great that may sound, there is one slight problem...
I have to go by plane.
Fly.
I don't have any fears, except for flying
I hate it, the feeling of being thousands of miles up in the sky, the possibility to plummet down into the water and drown. My father died in a plane crash a few years back. We still don't know what exactly happened, but that's probably the reason I'm so afraid of flying now.
I went downstairs, and could already smell the fragrance of freshly baked pancakes fill the air. My mom was standing at the stove, and smiled when I entered the kitchen.
"Aww, look at my little boy all grown up and leaving for college! I thought, why not make you a last tasty breakfast that we can enjoy together?"
"Thanks mom."
"You know that I am going to miss you very much, right baby?"
I know that she is afraid of something happening on the plane as well, but she doesn't show it. She doesn't want to scare me even more, so she makes this last breakfast together count.
"All your suitcases are already in the car, your bodyguard will take you to the airport and then in Paris, he'll take you to you new apartment. I asked him to watch over you while you're there, just to make me feel at ease, okay honey?"
I understand her worry, but I also know that if I ask my bodyguard to let me do whatever in want in Paris, he won't hold me back.
"Alright mom" I quickly stuff the pancakes in my mouth and give her a hug "I love you."
"I love you too"

Before we went to the airport, I asked my bodyguard to stop by a drugstore to get some sleep medication. I thought of this just before we left.
If i take some sleep medication, i won't be aware of anything that happens on the plane, so i won't be as stressed out.
After buying it, we went straight to the airport, i wanted to be asleep before anyone else showed up, because they would probably go and talk to me, which I didn't really need right now.
I walked into the airport, already getting nervous, the axiety rising inside of me.
After checking in, passing security and finding my boarding gate, I got on the plane. No one was there yet, but I just sat down, plugging in my headphones for some calming music and putting on some sunglasses for blocking out light. I took the sleep meds immediately and fell into a restless yet peaceful sleep.
I woke up -still not completely conscious because of the meds- to a girl staring at me, my head and eyes felt heavy, I slowly tried to turn my head around, only finding it hanging down and the blue haired girl asking a question, while impatiently tapping her foot on the ground. I didn't know what was happening, but before I knew it, I drifted off to sleep again.
A loud voice sounded over the intercom, informing everyone that we were going to land.
Wow! I survived it! I'm still alive!
Standing outside of the airport, waiting for my bodyguard to arrive, it started to rain.
Really hard.
Luckily my mother prepared for anything, so it wasn't hard to find an umbrella in my messenger bag. I opened it and walked forward, making myself visible for my bodyguard, wherever he may be.
*honk honk* I looked to my right and saw Gorilla -that's a name I've actually given him when I met him, he doesn't mind- and walked his way.
But suddenly I heard something, a splash of water and a car racing away. I swiftly turned around and saw a girl, with all her suitcases, flat on the pavement. Soaking. Wet.
I ran toward the bluenette, holding out my umbrella for her and giving her a friendly smile. She looked me in the eyes as she stood up and my heart skipped a beat. She was beautiful.
Her big bluebell eyes seemed to be staring into my soul and her dark blue hair stuck to her face, but it still looked amazing. We kept staring at each other without saying a word, until I broke the silence.
"Ugh some people at the airport are just so rude! Are you okay princess? You fell pretty hard..."
Princess?! Really?!
Why did I have to call her princess?! For gods sake Adrien!
She mumbled something I couldn't catch and started to walk away, looking for another cab and I couldn't help but felt like I had to help her. I don't know what I was thinking when I suddenly shouted:
"Hey! I could give you a ride as well princess!"
Again with the princess! Get it together Adrien! Don't act like a weirdo!
Surprisingly, she accepted my offer after I thought I'd blown it already, and asked me for my name. I replied fast because it was freezing.
"I'm Adrien Agreste, now will you get in the car? It's freezing!" and it was, my coat was already in the car and the rain started to get worse.
She laughed at me, and I wanted to make her laugh. I had only just met her, but I had this feeling around her, like I could be me. Just me, not the person everyone else wanted me to be.
So I opened the car door and acted like a real gentleman, somehing that made her chuckle even more when I called her m'lady.
We both got into the car and looked over the city as we left the airport. It still looking wonderful, even with the bad weather.
But the only thing I could think about in the car was her, with her mesmerizing blue eyes, looking like oceans i could explore for days, months even. With her wavy raven-coloured hair that fell just past her shoulders. The smile that was on her face the entire time, was extremely cute.
Wait, what am I even thinking?
