Chapter 2

Nate POV:

I just got home from Paulina's house. I was greeted by Jazz.

Jazz: Hey, Nate what took you so long?

Nate*note*: Would you believe me if I told you I stopped an attempted rape?

This shocked her. Like with Diego, I can't blame her. I don't care who it is. Rape is a terrible thing.

Jazz: Tell me exactly what happened.

Seeing that there was no way around, I told her everything. From me using my shadows to grab Paulina away from Dash. To me using the Ultimate Shield. To me walking her home and finally to me running into Sam.

Jazz: Though I wish you could have been more careful with your abilities. But given the circumstances, I can't blame you for acting the way you did.

I shook my head.

Nate*note*: That's not what's bothering me.

Jazz: Then what is it?

Nate*note*: It was on my way home when I ran into Sam. You know I can since Chi. And I can even since weather or not its malicious and who they belong to. For some reason her chi malicious. But it wasn't directed to me. In fact I sinced it the moment Paulina and I left the school.

Jazz: Are you saying Sam had something to do with Paulina's attempted rape? If I didn't know you as well I as do I'd say your a liar and I'd say there's no way she'd do that.

Nate*note*: It's just doesn't it seem strange that Sam was there moments after I saved Paulina?

Jazz: It does. But what can we do about it? We don't have any proof about it.

Nate*note*: I don't know.

I decided to walk to school so I can think of a strategy. As I'm thinking, I accidentally bumped into a familiar face.

(No my boy Hughes isn't going to be a Nazi. Hughes is a detective and a family friend of the Fentons. The Hughes family knows about Nate's past and his abilities. And no I'm not killing this badass dad!)
