(Earlier)
I was helping Starr move people across the street, when two doctors came to rush forward we saw Kota, Victor, Gabriel, and North, make their way into an ambulance. Starr immediately ran to her dad and asked of they were okay. I caught up and noticed the gash on Kota's head, worried he might have brain damage.

North assured here they were fine but needed to make sure. Victor told us to go with them but I shook my head, he wanted us to be somewhere safe. North knew he couldn't make Starr, leave and he knew what she needed was to help. He told us to be careful.

They left and we went back to helping out, auntie Lily was trying to help out those that couldn't move yet and Rydian was trying to help a kid find his mother. He continued to help and then shots were heard from the top floor.

Me and Starr froze, looking around trying to find the source when large arms scooped us up and brought us inside. We were taken into the shop that we were bring people through, when we looked up we found Chess pushing us down behind some furniture.

"You guys okay?" He asked and more shots were fired. I grabbed Starr and held her in my arms. "Were okay,...wait Rydian!" Starr was trying to get up but I held onto her.

He got his gun out and loaded it, telling people to stay down, his brother lan and Liam came forth. "Little Raven is still inside. Shots came from upper floors, lets try to find him." Even though they just fell through the floor with Uncle Henry, they're pretty badass.

I want to be like that one day.

Chess asked us to stay here until they know it was atlease safer to go in and continue helping. More time passed and Starr was getting pissed, we couldn't stay in one spot for more than 10 minutes unless we were playing music.

I told her to give it another minute, but she rolled her eyes and got up. I followed her outside the door and we ran behind one of those trash and that hold cigarettes for people that walk down the street.

We looked out to see if danger was near, people with guns, or Chihuahuas with needle teeth on the loose, but we saw and heard nothing. "What are doing Starr?" I asked, I know if anything happened to her it would crush me, and Rydian would kick my ass too.

"We need to find Rydian, hopefully he's with mom. They said she was okay. Where the hell do you think he went?" She was about to stand when my instincts reacted and I pulled her back down. Another ambulance came up, they don't know about the shooting. More first responders came out of the back and some came out way.

Relief was what we felt. We stood and headed back towards the hospital back entrance ready to find Rydian when Starr stopped suddenly before me. I took in what she was looking at.

Owen, Chess, Henry, Jacob, Tommy, and Kate. All team leads pushing a covered body into the ambulance. Their faces lost with shed tears. We saw the right arm uncovered, bruised, a gold Rolex watch wrapped around his wrist. We know that watch.

My heart dropped and my eyes stung like it was getting burned. My chest heavy, a lump forming bigger and bigger that I couldn't breathe.

"Gramps...." Starr croaked out. Her legs gave out and I caught her. I slowly set us down on the hard ground while she cried. While I cried. It hurt, it hurt so much. Our cries became silent sobs and the only thing we could do right now was hug each other, watching them close the ambulance doors.

The lights on top blinked, some members coming out to watch their fellow idol leave the place he called home.

I never wish to feel this feeling ever again. I don't want to lose anyone else. I don't want to experience this death. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I feel like I could have done more. I feel like our time wasn't enough. Why did this happen?
