CH22 That Happy Ending

Your POV

I was blushing during the whole trip since yesterday. Rocket was stuck in mind. The guardians already got the idea of us being an object and all. They kept teasing Rocket during the trip too.

"So?",I sighed crossing my legs as I sat on a chair. Groot was in his pot. He was growing a lot. He looked so cute as he yawned.

"You're growing",I smiled at him. He also brightened. He couldn't talk yet.

"Hey",Rocket came in with a grin.

"Hi",I blushed and giggled.

"The group decided to stop here",he informed sitting by new to me. "We need some break from the whole Ronan and travel thing"

"I wonder if Peter found us something to do",I smirked.

"Don't worry, he's a total dick, his ass always gets kicked by his stupid reasons",he retorted playfully. He held laughter in pretty good. I slightly giggled.

"I hope so",I said as Groot danced behind us that Jackson5 song.

"Stay by me, (Name)",he said that seriously. "I want to care for you"

I was awed. "Oh ok",I smiled I blushed.

"I want you to be you, though",he said moving a strand of hair away from my face.

"Umm let's go!",he grabbed my hand and led me out. He had Groot in one hand pouting. I giggled again of how cute Groot looked sad.

The guardians were already getting in. Rocket was being slightly too protective over me. "Stop looking at her!",he yelled at the guard of the club.

"What's a little thing like you gonna do",the guard smirked at. He was insulting Rocket.

"Good question",laughed Rocket. He pulled out his gun and aimed at the guard. "I'll splatter your freaking face!!"

He shot him straight on the face and laughed heartily. He was such a dangerous creature, but the sweetest. I picked him up and hugged him gently.

"Not in public",he whispered. "Unless you're-",I interrupted with a passionate kiss. He dropped Groot on the floor. Luckily, Groot landed safely.

"Come on",I smiled as we ran towards the door. I was carrying Groot now.

I loved this guy. Never met any person who care for me so much and loved me that much. He was smart and clever. His perfectly planned ideas. Thinking he was something worthless while I thought he was amazing. Fun to be around with, but risks your life sometimes. I got that happy ending getting a boyfriend, being a guardian, being loved for who I am, be a hero, and be known. I thought nothing would Happen to me. Though, my adventure will never end........
