chapter 5:

Aye's POV

I can say that 'I'm 3 feet away from her'.

It makes sense.

I know I'm about to be near her again.

Just wait for me mika! I'm going to save you!

Determination is what she holds on to. She must find her quick for it might be the end of her life, any minute by now. Running as fast as she can, twist and turns from one road to another and follow her good instinct. A warehouse. The very place that she was standing before by now. It was quite old and gloomy at the same time. Big trees surrounding it that makes it more remarkable. Makes you think of a haunted house to be exact. One or two minutes of hallucination will get her nowhere and there she goes, taking off from the ground and cast away a spell that eventually lifts her into the hair. In a matter of seconds, she was inside the barrier. She have long predicted that there will mages like her inside. This will be a long battle. 

Knowing her predictions always turns right, she was attacked directly by means of thunder that electrifies her body. She can't move.

"We've seen each other again, my lady". The green-eyed guy from a while ago showed up. Kyle, an electric type wizard. She was now laying on the ground, too weak to stand. Looking around with her left eye open, she can't think straight yet a picture of Mika flash through her mind. Remembering the very person who smiles at her innocently, she can't help but to get up at any cost. Regaining her balance, a familiar voice wakes her up for the second time.

"Aye-chan!". From apar, Aye can see a girl about her age asking for help. Pleading eyes. Yet, she can't take it anymore. Electricity is one thing she can't handle. That was the very last thing she saw. Mika being held up high. And kidnappers being electrified. 

Aye's POV

 What is happening? Is Mika safe? I open my eyes terrified of the things. But there she is, beside me, smiling like some kind of idiot but later on droplets of tears was vividly shown. I gesture my hand to cast it away. But another thing to be shock about, Kyle was with him. I stand at the best that i could but my aching body fail me to do so. I see him go near me. No!

"Please don't be afraid of him. He's your teacher, from now on". Aye can't believe the things she's been hearing up until now. First, he warns her about the princess , then electrified her. And Mika suddenly e the blurted out that Kyle is nothing but her teacher. A mage instructor.

Mika's POV

 How can I possiblt tell her all the truth by now? I'm too selfish. I can't say it. Not now. She will be probably shock if I tell her that Kyle is no mere teacher. He is her fiance. But, I'm not into explaining things. I might as well let him handle her for a good while. 

"Please get well soon, my protector". She simply smile and wave her goodbye.

"Mika? Where the hell are you going? Trying to get lost by yourself again?". As Mika, turn around to face her, she give her an idiotic smile once again. The complete surrounding gives Aye a very uncomfortable feeling. They are inside the warehouse. 

"Wondering why the warehouse was so neat?"

"What is your relationship with Mika?"

"I think you got the wrong question, sweetheart?"

Aye was at lost. Words disobeyed her. It won't come out. She long wanted to scold the green-eyed guy before him. Yet, what was happening to her. A guy suddenly calling her 'sweetheart'. The only person who can call her names is Mika alone. But, this is another thing. Aye can't speak at that very moment. No. His eyes alone gives shiver to her spines. Cat eyes. She hates it. She hates cats. And she hate him.

Turning her head to the other side, she let out a 'hmp'. On the other hand, Kyle give him a nod as a sign of understanding.

Author's note: Sorry for the short chapters. I'm not into those kinds of writing. I appreciate the suggestion and comments to improve my writing but my styles won't just changed. Deepest apology.
