Together Again

   "This better be important. I was in the middle of-" Error stopped in the middle of his sentence and frowned. He must have noticed four sets of eyes were staring at him. Mom. Geno. Asy. And... A harsh glitched passed through him as his pin pricks settled on me. "Ah. That explains it..." He fidgeted awkwardly. 

   "Hello... Error." I was a bit more cautious with Error. He never liked me as a kid. What could have changed while I was gone?

   "Fresh." He blinked. "Geno where are my papers?"

   "Oh yeah." Geno grabbed the papers and handed them over. He gave a half smile at the middle brother. 

   Error tore the papers in half and dropped them. "There goes the last five years of my life."

   I turned to ma confusion hitting my soul. "What does he mean?"

   Asy decided to answer. "Error has been studying investigation for years. Looking for you..." His smile was bittersweet.

   "For me?" I furrowed my brows. "Why?" I turned to Error seeking an answer.

   Error sighed softly and wrapped his arms around the youngest. "Do me a favor. Shut up. I don't wanna hear your stupid voice." His voice was just as hoarse as ever but deeper than before. More concentrated?

   I frowned in confusion and rested my hands on his back. I didn't question the subtle shake of the shoulders. I didn't question the wet dripping on my shoulder. I didn't speak as my own vision blurred with tears. I had tried so hard to avoid breaking down. Don't start now... I can handle this. It's not a big deal...

   "I'm glad you're okay." Error murmured soft enough for only I to hear. 

   I heard a sniffle and finally pulled back. Ma had bright glistening tears in her eyes. Asy had tears gleaming in one eye. Geno was the one that sniffled. He pulled Error and I into a tight hug to which we both protested. "Geno!"

   "You guys!" Geno hiccupped and tightened his grip on both of our shirts. 

   "All of my boys.... Together again." Ma smiled with trembling lips. "I'm so happy."
