It was the next morning, I had a bit of extra time and was in my bathroom doing a bit of light makeup, just some mascara and lip gloss. I looked at myself one last time in the mirror and nodded to myself. I headed downstairs and was about to sit down when I heard a honk outside. I opened the door and saw Billie's car. I ran inside quickly and grabbed my keys, running back out and locking up, I decided to sit in the front this time, opening the passanger door and sliding into the seat. "Morning, I got you coffee" she said, handing me an iced coffee. "Wow thanks" I said, taking a sip "how did you know my exact order?" I suddenly asked. Her eyes widened, but quickly went back to normal "lucky guess? I guess I just went off by your personality" she said "Um okay.." I said back. "But I don't know what personality has to do with that" I added. She just started driving. As we were driving I couldn't help but notice Billie glancing at me a lot.  "So your car" she finally said, breaking the silence. "Oh yeah.. that" I said softly. "My brother, finneas, he can fix that for you, no cost or anything" she offered "no no it's okay, you don't have to" I replied. "It's okay he won't mind" she said, smiling at me. I noticed Billie took a wrong turn so I pointed it out "hey my works the other way" I said, trying to sound polite "I know" she said. I frowned "I can't be late" I said, starting to get worried. She locked the doors. "Billie?" I said quietly, she didn't respond, she just kept her eyes on the road. "Billie this isn't funny" I said raising my voice a little, she took another turn, somehow pulling into my work, I breathed a sigh of relief. "Homeless people" she said. "huh?" I asked "the homeless people at that corner aren't afraid to try to open your car, even when it's moving, so I locked it" she said, I sighed in relief "oh okay for a minute there.." I said trailing off "you really think that's what kind of person I am?" She suddenly shot at me. "no no I just-" she cut me off "whatever" she said, turning away. "Billie.." I said softly. She didn't reply, I just exited the car without another word, she sped away. I felt terrible..I walked into the store, my boss was waiting for me at the front, she didnt look happy. "that girl" she said suddenly, as I approached her. "Pardon?" I asked. "That girl.." she repeated, crossing her arms. I raised an eyebrow In confusion. "I don't like the vibe she gives off'' she said, walking away. What's her deal..but I couldn't help but agree with her, I mean don't get me wrong, Billie was nice, but maybe a little too nice. Or maybe I'm overthinking, no one can really be too nice, I'm just an asshole that's all, but I will admit she DOES give off a weird vibe, but the fact even my boss notices it? I shrugged, going to my register, ready for another horrible day at work.
