Tiara walked towards the kitchen to make her Beignet batter for a get together. She walked into the kitchen to see Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay baking cookies but they didn't notice her.

"What are you guys doing in here?" Tiara asked they all jumped turning to her.

"Jeez. You sure are light on your feet." Carlos said and Tiara laughed.

"But really, what are you doing?"

"Uh, just whipping up some cookies" Mal said and the others hummed.

"Ooh, can I?" Tiara grabbed one.

"No!" They all yelled and she looked surprised.

"I just wanna try one." She giggled then took a bite.

"Oh. No. No!"

"Wait!"

Tiara looked surprised and hummed. Jay walked up to her and smirked.

"Hey." He said in a charming way. Tiara giggled then blushed.

"Has anyone ever told you how handsome you are?" Tiara looked at him dreamingly.

"Oh no."

"Tiara, do you feel different in anyway??" Mal asked as Tiara continued to stare at Jay.

"Yeah, I feel like I can stare into your eyes forever." She said staring at Jay who smirked.

"Okay. You should go back to what you were doing, Tiara." Evie said and Tiara shook her head looking away.

"Right, I was supposed to make my Beignet batter." Tiara said walking away.

"Beignet?" Carlos asked and Tiara pulled out all her ingredients and pushed him off the counter.

She looks at the VK's with an odd expression.

"Beignets. There my mother's specialty, she used to make them all the time. Instead of chocolate chip cookies, ny and my sister got delicious, warm beignets with white powder suger. They were so good, she taught me her recipe and I added my own twisted to them. Chocolate." She showed them a bowl of chocolate chucks.

"So, you bake?" Jay stood next to Tiara who smiled.

"And cook. And clean. I could do those things for you if you'd like." She said with a bright smile and Jay chuckled. Mal stared at the two and cleared her throat.

"Guess you guys use chocolate for everything, eh?" Mal said and Tiara laughed.

"It seems that way, huh?"

"Uh, we should get going, don't wanna be in your way." Carlos said and Mal and Evie nodded. They fot their things and left.

"Jay?" Mal called.

"Yeah, in a minute." Jay said watching Tiara struggle tp grab a big bowl that was on the top shelf. Jay want up to her and grabbed the bowl giving it to her.

"Thanks." Tiara went back over to the counter and started mixing the batter.

"So, Princess Tiara. What do you do for fun?" Jay asked sitting on the counter next to her.

"Oh, well, I make dresses. I like sports but we have this rule, where girls can't play sports."

"I mean, why would they, girls aren't as strong as us men." Jay said flexing his muscles. Tiara gave him a "oh no he didn't" look then scoffed.

"You're talking to the best tourney player in Auradon. I might not be on the team but I'm sure I can beat you all in one try." She said smirking and Jay gave her a half smile.

"I a woman who knows what she's  worth." Jay said and Tiara blushed looking away.

"Your amulet, does it always glow like that?" Jay asked looking at her amulet that was swaying due to her mixing the batter.

"I don't know, it starts glowing when you're around for some reason." She said and he hummed.

"Another question."

"You sure are a curious George." Tiara chuckled and Jay looked confused but shook it off.

"What happen to you in class earlier??"

"Nothing, you should worry about. I just have my days and I was upset about the whole Adenlen thing."

"Yeah, I think you should get over him and... find someone better, and more your type." Jay wiggled his brows making Tiara laugh.

"And how would you know what my type is?" She asked turning to him stopping what she was doing.

"Let's see, you're not like other princess here. You speak your mind and I like that. You let it be told and don't take no shit, which I also like. Then there's something about the way you carry yourself, that I can't quite explain." Jay said in a serious way.

"So, you're saying??"

"You're not a pretty preppy princess, you're more of a pretty bad ass princess, and I like that about you." Jay smirked and Tiara chuckled.

"Well, I like that about me too." Tiara said then turned away putting her batter in the fridge.

"It's late, I should get going."

"I can walk to your dorm." Jay said and Tiara nodded with a warm smile.

They walked back to Tiara's dorm and talked about random things. They finally made it stopping at her door.

"Thanks, for walking with me."

"Yeah, it's whatever." Jay shrugged.

"I'll see you around your your Majesty." Jay bowed then walked away.

"Wait, Jay." Jay turned to Tiara and walked back up to her.

"Yeah?"

"You wouldn't happen to have a date to the coronation, would you?"

"Nah. But I was thinking about asking someone. Why?" Jay said and Tiara frowned.

"Oh, I wanted to know if you'd come with me, but you're asking someone, so it's cool." Tiara faked smiled and Jay noticed.

"When I said I was gonna ask someone. I meant, I was gonna ask you." He held up her chin.

"Oh..." They stared at each other for a minute. Jay pecked her lips taking her by surprise. Tiara pulled him in by his collar kissing him pulling him into her room then closed the door.
