Leaving the place, Billy and Rebecca continue their exploration. They find weaponry, with munitions that they needed. Then they arrived at the gates. Rebecca decided to lower the gates. At the same time, Billy presses the button that will activate a "battle arena" program. Once the button pressed, the door barred and two Hunters released into the room. "Battle sequence initiated. Locking door." said a voice from the computer.
He killed them, which provoked the opening of the doors, "Battle sequence complete. Unlocking the door for Rebecca. They continue to explore the place for an escape. In a broadcast room, they find a handle and a bar. In this room, there is a piano covered in dust. Using the handle on the vise freed the tablet from its grip. Rebecca sits down to try her hand at playing the piano in the bar. Frustration commences. Billy chuckles in amusement.
Rebecca looked at him "Because you can do better?"
"Let's me try," he said.
Billy played a little tune on the piano in the bar opened a secret passageway. Rebecca found a battery and is taking it from the alcove in the wall. It triggers the secret door to close, trapping Rebecca inside. Yet, Billy's musical fingers opened it up once again.
They placed the battery in the elevator panel outside the house. It brought the elevator to the ground level. As they're placing all three tablets in the grooves in the observatory. It will trigger a mechanism that will cause the tower to descend into the lake and grant access to the church. Rebecca looks about in concern at the vibrations of the tower they are in. As Rebecca stands in front of the double doors to the church, Billy heads to the small building to the right. Stepping on one of the tiles in the corner of the building releases the lock on the double doors.
Rebecca enters the church and found a desk. She searched for anything that could be useful. Since she found nothing, she left the place in the church. She heard a loud crash echoes through the building. Squeals and the beating of large wings echo throughout the large room. Looking skyward, the source of these sounds confirmed to be a giant bat. The bat squeals as it launches its assault.
While he went back, the Lieutenant heard Rebecca's screams and hurry to go to the church. He saw the bat screeches in agony as its wings fail to keep it aloft and the creature plunges to the floor. It convulses a few times before finally going still. Billy had flipping the switch to activate power to the elevator. A light above the device lights up to confirm current flow.
The duo rides the elevator down into the lab.
July 23, 1998, Umbrella research center, time unknown, the laboratory.
In the lab, Rebecca found samples of Leeches. Rebecca noted that one of them was absent. She left the room, and join Billy as he found a button. They press the button on the balcony above the main hall of the lab. It causes a wall to rise and reveal the hallway continues further on inside. Shambling around behind the false wall resides a Leech Zombie.
Meanwhile, Billy located an old photo album of Dr. Marcus as a young man. The picture of the young Marcus looks like the cloaked man seen outside the train. Billy was pouring over the album "Judging from the age, that guy could be Marcus' son or grandson."
Rebecca placed the sterilizing agent, she found, into the small machine. So she can clear the air inside the small chamber of the deadly gas.
July 23, 1998, Umbrella research center, time unknown, somewhere else in the laboratory.
Billy was exploring too. After a while, he located an air train in the laboratory. He radios Rebecca and Kate as he leaped over the railing and inspected his find," I could use this."
"Billy, what's going on?" asked Kate over the comm. She seems preoccupied.
"I found something, an aerial cable car."
"Ok, that's good news. Go first with Rebecca, I'll join you later."
"You're okay?"
"Yes. I can take care of myself. Leave the place with Rebecca and I'll find you outside. Over"
"Kate..." Billy began but the women shut the comm, "Damn it!"
Then Rebecca answered, "Rebecca here. Over."
"Billy. I found something here that might make you happy, it's an aerial cable car," he said.
"That's great, now we can get out after Kate is back. Have you new about her?"
"Yep, she said that she will join us later"
"Weird," said Rebecca.
"I know, but she's on something and she can take of herself. So we had to trust that she'll be fine."
"Yeah."
Rebecca wasn't convinced but for now, she couldn't do anything since she didn't know where Kate was. Indeed, she needed to trust her friend.
"Let's regroup as soon as possible," said Billy.
"Roger."
