Chapter 2: 'The Swimming Pool'

MIDORIYA'S POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone. It was my alarm. It's so early in the morning, why did I chose this time? Ugh, whatever. I'll just get ready. Oh, wait! I forgot. I'm in Kacchan's house! How am I going to change?! I didn't ask for any extra clothes! Oh my God Izuku, what are you thinking?! I rushed down the hall and ran to Kacchan's room. I knocked, no response. Maybe he was still sleeping? I rushed to the dining room to see Kacchan eating breakfast. 'Good morning, Deku!' He greeted me with a warm smile. Made me smile as well. 'Good Morning, Kacchan!' I responded with a big smile. He then told me to sit down and eat breakfast with him. It was pancakes, on the sides of my seat were some syrup and a slice of butter. I couldn't be happier! I started to pour the syrup onto the well-cooked pancake. Kacchan had some really good cooks! I then put the slice of butter on top of the fluffy light brown 'savory'. I munched away, it was delicious as it looked! I finished it within 15 minutes. I was happy, to eat this delightful breakfast. Kacchan then made his way out and I followed him shortly. He told me he was going swimming for a while. I asked him if I could join, which sounded pretty stupid. But he agreed anyway, he's always so kind. The problem is, I didn't have any swimming clothes. Kacchan told me to go shirtless. I was blushing crazy when he said that, but I ran to my room and searched for some swimming shorts in the big closet. Luckily, I found one. It was cute, I think I remember Kacchan wearing this before. I went inside the bathroom and started changing.It was a bit tight, but overall, I liked everything about the shorts. I made my way downstairs, back to Kacchan's room. I opened the door being a clueless idiot and saw him, naked. He screamed 'AHHHHHHHH DEKU!!' I then realised he was naked and was a red tomato. I tried to respond as quickly as I can, but 'A-AH SORRY KACCHAN!' were the only words I could form at that moment. He was naked, literally. I was still blushing from what just happened. He had a nice body.. wait, what am I thinking?! This is inappropriate. THIS IS TOTURE!! I screamed inside of my head.

BAKUGOU'S POV

Oh my God.. DEKU JUST SAW ME NAKED?! WHAT THE HELL! I'm so f()cking embarrassed! It's gonna be so awkward later.. ugh, what do I do? These damn shorts don't even fit me, I just want to swim. It's been so long since I jumped in the pool, maybe since I was a younger teen? Ugh, enough about that. What am I going to do with Deku?! He just saw me naked and he's gonna think all weird! I don't like that. Ugh, whatever. I'll just try to not make it awkward. I walk out of the room wearing a towel around my neck and some shorts. They were new so they should look presentable. I just wanna wear these cause it's nice and.. I wanna impress Deku. Ugh, these are tight! Does that old hag even know my size? I was thinking about all of this in my head until I 'accidentally' bumped into Deku. He started turning red and was apologising about what happened earlier. I forgave him, obviously, and we both head out to the swimming pool. This fresh air, smelt nice. I was a little sad that I was stuck here in the house, I wanted to go out, maybe even take Deku with me, but I can't do that now. When I get the chance, I'll ask him out. I just hope I won't be embarrassed. Deku asked me if he could get a towel for later, so I asked one of the maids to bring one down. We had a lot of extras, the maid handed the white towel to Deku and he responded with a gentle 'Thank you!'. He was so genuine, I loved that about him. He placed the towel on one of the chairs and went to the stairs of the pool. The pool was huge, so he would obviously be a pussy to just dive in. As for me, I jumped in. The water was warm, just how I wanted it. He got in pretty easily since the water was hot. 'Oh my God Kacchan, this water feels so nice! Thanks for letting me swim.' He said. 'Yeah, no problem. It's always warm, like how it's supposed to be.'. I then called over a maid and asked for a drink from the refrigerator. I asked Deku if he wanted anything, he wanted water. What's with water? About 5 minutes later, the maid came back outside and brought us our drinks. Deku stopped drinking his water and started doing laps around the pool. I followed him shortly.

MIDORIYA'S POV

Omg. I'm swimming with Kacchan. I can't get it out of my head. I accidentally walked in on him changing, just on the second day. SECOND DAY! Ugh, that was so embarrassing. I'm just glad it wasn't so awkward. But soon after, I lost my mind for a sec and almost bumped into Kacchan. The pool was big and everything, how did I manage to get on his side? I tried to swim to the opposite direction before Kacchan could notice we were so close. Why do I keep embarrassing myself? This is so unusual. I got out of the pool for a sec, fixing my hair while drinking my water until I caught Kacchan staring at me. Wait.. Kacchan is staring at me?! AHH! I asked him 'Kacchan? I-Is something wrong..?'. He looked like he just snapped out of something and responded with 'Yeah! I'm good..'. Kacchan is usually honest, I hope he isn't lying to me. I went back into the pool and swam over to him, 'Kacchan?' I asked him. He was blushing like crazy, then I noticed it. MY SHORTS WERE SO LOW MY THING WAS ABOUT TO- Before I could process everything in this tiny brain of mine, I quickly pulled the shorts up while seeing Kacchan cover his red face. I was confused why he didn't say anything to me and just stared. Did he want this..? No wait, that's crazy.. Kacchan just thinks of me as a friend, right..?

BAKUGOU'S POV

Sh()t! I'm blushing like crazy.. all of that damn nerds fault! Why did his shorts almost fall? Nothing even happened to it.. DID HE DO THIS ON PURPOSE?! I swear to God, I'm getting to the bottom of this. Even if I don't see myself, I can tell I am one heck of a tomato right now. I need to stop! He'll get suspicious of me if I keep blushing. Wait, he's looking at me confused and passionate at the same time.. HE'S MAKING ASSUMPTIONS! Uh oh, I need to think of an excuse! But what? Ugh! I can't think right now.. he was so close to me just a while ago. Why is seeing him so near me make me so nervous? I hate it, I hate that I can't just get the courage to confess to him. I've probably liked him since we were kids, I'm just to shy or nervous he'll reject me. If he doesn't return my feelings, I'm going to lose him! Not as a boyfriend, but as a best friend! He's the only one who really stuck by my side, even when I knew I was wrong. I couldn't ask for more. Ugh, why did it have to be you Deku? If it was someone else, I probably would've not cared if they rejected me, but Deku.. he's just so different and amazing. There's no one else in the world that's better than Deku, that's for sure. I slightly pushed Deku back and told him we were doing a race, he obviously took me on and lost. 'Dang it! I was so close' he said to me. 'Too bad your still slow!' I replied with a confident tone. 'No, you're body is just too big and buff.'. I was shocked by this, does Deku find my body attractive? 'What do you mean?' I asked him. He said nothing about it and left the pool to go shower. I did the same, since it was boring swimming alone. It started to rain and feel cool inside the house. I quickly showered in warm water and changed into sweatpants. I went out of the room and grabbed a snack. I saw Deku come out of the room, still having wet hair and he was sobbing a bit. I ran over to him and asked him 'Why the hell are you crying? Are you okay?' I sounded so worried and obvious, damn it! Deku replied with '... I don't know how to turn on the shower..' he said to me with a disappointed tone. I couldn't help but burst out laughing. He looked at me with puppy eyes and slightly angry eyebrows started to form. 'Kacchan! It's not funny..' Deku said. I was still laughing, it was hilarious. I helped him turn it on and he kicked me from the room. How rude. I went back to eating my snack, I prepared some for Deku as well. A few minutes later, my mom called me, informing me why the lockdown started and how long will I be stuck here. 4 months. I had to deal with Deku for 4 more months? This is just great. I hanged up and continued to munch on the food. Deku came out of the room and sat down on the dining table. We both ate while telling each other stories, just like old times. I remember when we used to be kids, we would tell each other stories to either scare one another, or teach each other a lesson. God, it was so childish. I knew that when Deku was a kid, he always admired me, even until today. I don't know why, I'm not so special. I mean, my quirk and everything else is awesome, but he acts like no one else in the world is greater than me. Probably also one of the reasons why I liked him for so long- he was always so gentle and kind, he also knew when I needed space. He was just perfect. We both finished eating and went up to my room. We decided to do something fun and entertaining.
