As Maya entered the hospital a lady ran up to her and asked "Are you Ms.Rivers?" Maya replied "yes, yes I am" "well come this way and I'll show you around" the lady quickly grabbed Maya's hand and when they reached the staff room, it was like nothing she ever saw. There were many leather sofas and a big LED screen TV, there was a mini fridge and a microwave in a corner. "Here is your schedule and your shift starts with Dr.McCoy in about 15 minutes" "ummm, thanks!" Maya replied
As soon as the lady leaves she opens the fridge and opens up a box of strawberry yogurt. A few minutes later, the same lady bursts in and says "NURSE MAYA!! A WOMEN IS DELIVERING AND THE DOCTOR HASNT ARRIVED, WE NEED YOU!" "I'll be right there!"
When Maya reaches the Delivery Room, a woman is on a bed screaming in pain. Maya quickly runs and tells the woman to stop screaming and slowly push. The woman says "NURSE! IT HURT'S!". Then Maya realizes the baby's head is peeking out which is causing the woman pain. "Okay ma'am, the baby is almost out just keep pushing" the woman says "okay, I'll try"
5 MINUTES LATER....
5 minutes later Maya is cleaning the newborn baby girl. "Here you go ma'am, you gave birth to a healthy baby girl", as soon as the woman see's her baby, she thanks Maya.....ALOT.
