Silence before strom

Practise session, chennaswami, chennai.

MS causally sat near the drinks while the team is practising. He took a drink for himself and looked around. The last test match in Chennai gonna start in 2 days and then move to Kolkata for the remaining 2 test matches against  SA. Then break of just a week before they go to Srilanka for a bilateral series. Jinks who is in NCA due to injury will join them there. 

Virat was checking Shubman's bat and maybe adjusting his grip while Shubi animately explaining or looks like complaining about something. Navdeep ran to Virat from the other corner of the ground as soon as he was down with his practice.  Siraj joined them soon. A proud smile came on Mahi's lips. how grown up his cheeku looks?

He turns a  bit to see Ashwin saying something with a serious expression to Ravi bhai who was visibly confused. MS chuckled. somethings never change. The only thing that changed though was, Vihari standing beside Ash trying had to control his laughter but also extremely impressed with Ash. 

And to almost another corner of the ground, he saw Kuldeep without any intimation jumped on Rohit's back, who just came out of nets and drinking water, laughing happily. suddenly Rohit pressed a bottle little hard making water fall all over kuldeep's face. Kuldeep screamed and laughed at same time trying to hide in rohit's back. Rishu ran towards them and started poking Rohit's tummy for no absolute reason. Rohit responded by pouring remaining water on his head before all of them burst out laughing.

MS for the first time realised something. "This team... it is a family... a perfect one even without him." He felt a proud feeling filling his heart. His kids created this, in such a short span.

 He decided to ingore a bit of the uneasy felling deep inside when he saw his little kiddo's growing up so much.

As he kept watching Rohit. MS's smile turned into a frown, "Something is wrong with this boy."he thought. 

Though there isn't any specific change to pin point in Rohit's behaviour but MS, somehow,  has developed this art of seeing through them.

"Hiiiiiiiiiiii Bhai." Virat slumped against him pulling him out of his thoughts.

"What are you seeing?" Virat asked smiling.

" Nothing specific. Just looking around how perfectly my cheeku managed everything after i  left" MS replied smiling proudly.

"Really?" Virat asked his eyes shining in excitement. this compliant meant so much to him.

"Yes captain cheeks and I am so so so proud of you." MS laughed ruffling his hair making Virat smile more.

"I had to work hard and I had people to support me," Virat added happily. MS nodded with a smile.

"We used to mess up a lot in the beginning," Virat started slowly leaning on to MS. "Once Kuliya had fever, that crazy boy just curled up to himself and slept. Rohit thought i checked on him and I thought he did. Yuzi wasn't in team then."

MS listened patting him slowly.

"I and Rohit had a stupid fight so I didn't ask him and he didn't too. Next day, when i got to know I felt like a biggest failure." Virat added still feeling a bit sad about that incident.

"So, i decided to never let it happen again. I proposed Ro that no matter how much we fight and How angry we are, we would still communicate about kids and it doesn't count as we ended our fight or the one who talked before accepted that they are wrong." Virat added proudly at his amazing idea.

MS looked at him wondering if Virat had just escaped from high school and join indian cricket team? technically it didn't look possible though.

"And Rohit came up with division of kids." Virat added.
