It was Monday 2nd of September. It was 6:30am when my alarm suddenly went off. Which meant the day before the first day of university. And we all know how first days go. I wasn't even excited mainly because this was my second year in uni and I was already was growing bored of it. " Ugh!" I say rolling to the side to turn off the alarm. I knew I had to get up and ready cause I need to move my stuff back into my uni dorm.
I stand up and get out of bed. I begin to walk over to my walk in wardrobe. I scan my wardrobe and picked out a pretty basic outfit. A jumper and some sweats. I knew I didn't need to go all out cause I didn't have school or anything important. I didn't bother putting on makeup or doing my hair so I left it natural. (Straight)

I begin to make my way down stairs to grab some breakfast. When I reach the bottom of my stairs I am greeted by my mother. "Morning my love, are you ready to go?" My mother asks. "Not really, I need to pack some winter clothes and toiletries." I reply. My mother nods her head as a reply. She moves out my way letting me go past into the kitchen. I didn't want anything big cause we didn't have time so I just made some cereal. Soon after my dad walks in. "Hey honey!" He says to me while kissing the top of my head. "Morning Papi." I reply smiling. "So all packed?" My dad asks. "Nope." I reply.
After breakfast I go up to my room to pack the rest of my stuff. I pack winter clothes e.g scarf, gloves,sweats, hoodies, joggers, knitted cardigans, etc. After about 30minutes I finish packing the suitcase. I knew I need a restock of toiletries in my dorm so I went to my bathroom and got a toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, pads, tampons, compact mirror, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, floss and hair ties.
After loading the car and getting in I decided to text my best friends, Lily and Chase.

Me- I have just left my house And am on the way to the Campus. What about youse? x
Lily- Well I am like half way there . But I will wait for you guys after Unpacking x
Chase- I am just about to leave So I will be last to arrive But wait for me I beg x
Me- Yeah okay! :) x
Lily- Sure! x
I then switched my phone off and chatted with my parents. "What have you planned to do while I'm gone?" I ask. "Nothing much, we have to look after Accius and Nova" Mother says. I nod in agreement. Nova and Accius are my younger siblings they're twins. But right now they are staying at my grandparents so they don't get in the way.
After around a 2 hour car journey we reach the campus. My mum parks in the student car park. I get out the car and grab my suitcase from the boot. My dad walks up to me and takes it out of my hand. We walk around and soon see Lily and her mum,they wave over to us. Me and Lily run up to each other like wild chickens and embraces. We hug each other for what felt like forever. "I missed you!" Lily says happily. "I missed you too!" I say smiling at her. We disconnect from the embrace and walk over to our parents. "We just have to wait for Chase." Lily says.
After about 15 minutes Chase and his parents pull up into the student car park. Soon enough they began to walk over to us. Chase run over to me and Lily hugging us tightly. "I missed you guys!" Chase says. We just smile at him.
"Come on let's get you all packed." Our parents say.
We walk around to the Dormitory Block and head up the stairs. Unfortunate for us our dorm is on the top floor meaning we have to walk up 5 sets of stair cases. The only good thing was we all shared a dorm, normally girls and boys aren't allowed to mix but there were no more boys dorms left and we begged our principal to let Chase bunk with us, and to our luck he said yes. We get up to my dorm and I unlock it. I look around and take in what I have left for months. It smells nice and fresh. "I missed this place." Chase says grinning. Me and Lily nod. We all parted into our rooms with our parents. I began unpacking and re-organising my room a bit. After about an 1 hour and a half my dorm came to look like this.

I walk into our shared bathroom and put my little toiletries bag in out cabinet. I then go and sit with my parents in the living room.
After around 5 minutes Chase and Lily walk out there rooms. They walk over to me and sit down. "Honey." My Mother says. "Yes Mami." I reply. "We have to go now we need to pick up Accius and Nova." My mum says. I nod at them smiling. They get up and leave me. "We should go too." Chases Parents say. Chase looks up at them and waves buy. "I should go too love." Lily's mum says kissing Lily's forehead. "Bye mum." Lily says waving. Lily's mum walks out the dorm.
"Well now we have got a whole night to ourselves. What do you want to do?" Lily says excitedly. "Watch a movie and gossip?" I suggests. "I'm down." Chase says. Lily nods her head in agreement.
