chapter 1

I take a drink from my water bottle before carefully screwing on the cap and taking a deep breath.  It will be ok  I say to myself.  It will all be ok, no need to work yourself up. 

 I then take a deep breath before leaving the locker room, making my way down the hall, arriving at my uncle's office. Before entering I notice the door is wide open and I can see my uncle at his desk working on paperwork. I knock on the door frame lightly and he looks up at me. 

" Well look at you !" He greets with a large grin, while standing up from his chair and making his way over to me.

 " You look like a genuine pro-hero ! " he says while placing a large hand on my shoulder. 

" Thanks uncle Taishiro." I say with a smile as I look up at his tall form towering over me. My uncle's gaze then lowers. 

" Nice dagger you got there! " He says in reference to the dagger sitting snugly in it's holster strapped to my thigh. 

" Oh ! Would you like to see it ?" I ask and he eagerly nods. I reach down and take the dagger out of it's holster and hands it to him. He turns it over in his hands a few times. 

" This is a nice dagger, where did you get it ?" He asks. My face drops and I look down at the ground. 

" It was stephie's, her parents told me that she would have wanted me to have it." I say in a soft voice. He takes his hand and tilts my head up. 

" I'm sorry kiddo. " He says " but on the bright side, now she'll always be with you." He then hands the dagger back to me. And I nod with a soft smile before I take the dagger back from him and secure it back into its holster. Once my dagger is back in it's rightful place, someone knocks on the door frame to the office.
