Peter pov
I get changed into some clothes and go out to see mama and Wanda and the others
When I go out they have just arrived and I run to them hugging them
"We will tests to see if the winter soldier programming is gone tonight" a Dora milaje gaurd says I nod at her
That night
The gaurd that said that took me and papa far out from the city so if it wasn't removed we wouldn't hurt anyone
"Ready?" She asks
Me and papa nod
She begins reading out the words
(In Russian)
"Longing." She says first, I see memories of what I've done
"Rusted." She then says, the memories of the people I've killed begin to make me cry slowly
"Seventeen." She says, I look up to see papa crying aswell
"Daybreak." She says, me and papa ha e done such terrible things
"Furnace." She says, I see all the times I was taken out of being frozen
"Nine." She says, I see all the times I said ' ready to comply' to my handler saying the words
"Benign."she says, my mind doesn't feel like the words are working, it doesn't feel like my mind is being torn apart but it is bringing back bad memories
"Homecoming." She says, those memories begin to fade and my tears begin to slow
"One." She says, those memories begin to fade away
"Freight car." She says, they didn't make me go winter mode, but my crying doesn't stop
"You are free" she says, I can't believe I would ever hear those words so I look up to her to see if this was real
"You are free" she says again letting me know this is very real
My tears if trauma turns Into tears of joy
I get up and go hug papa and he does aswell
We thank shuri and Ayo and king tchalla
"You can stay with us here in wakanda if you want" tchalla says
"Yeah, I dont think we will be welcome In the world yet" papa says
Tchalla leads us to a small hut at the edge of wakanda next to a lake, it was beautiful
They also took are metallic arms off us because they reminded is of what we've done and killed with them
We have the simple life now
The local children called us the 'white wolfs'
It was a cool name
A said my goodbyes to the others
"Bye, you'll come to visit, right?" I says and asks mama hugging her
"Of course my baby spider" she says hugging back
"Bye, I'll see you again" I says to Wanda, she places a kiss on my cheek and says
"I'll visit with natasha"
I say my goodbyes and go back to the hut
Bucky pov
I say my goodbyes and when I lastly get to natasha
It was awkward because Peter has bought us closer and when we were in hydra and the red room we had a romantic relationship
"Bye" I says hugging her, she surprisingly hugs back and places a kiss on my cheek
I smile at her and them and go to the hut with Peter
The hut is cozy and the door isn't a door but it's a sort of curtain but it doesn't get cold because the weather here is always so warm
There are two beds which look comfortable
It's late so we go to sleep, it was the best sleep I have had since 1939 and I'm pretty sure Peter thinks the same
