Natasha pov
I have Peter's class next and I'm excited to see hi- how he reacts when I pick him to come up for example
I have this with Wanda and I'm pretty sure she wants to see him
While we wait we are just on our phones
We hear talking and get into position
I don't see Peter which makes me worried, god I'm such a mother, I see him walk In behind everyone
I let out a sigh of relief
I explain what's gonna happen
"I'll need someone to do an example" I say smiling
Peter tries to hide his head in the crowd but I say
"Peter, come up"
He reluctantly shows himself and walks up
We both get into position and I rush at him
I go for a jump kicks by he dodges
He could have got an easy hit on me but I know what he's gonna do
He's gonna dodge all my attacks
I go for a punch and kicks but her dodges
I punch unexpectedly In The stomach making him fall
Worry sets in and I immediately kneal down
"Peter, you okay" I ask quickly
"Yeah, well done but I think I'm gonna sit this out" he says
He walks over to a nearby bench and sits down
Wanda goes over to him
"Okay, so find a partner and don't die" I joke and the class go to find people while I walk over to Peter and Wanda
"You okay?" I ask
"Yeah, nice one" he says holding his stomach
"You sure, do you need anything" I say
"No, mom" he jokes making Wanda laugh and me smile
I sit beside them and we talk for a while and then Bucky comes and sits next to me
He places his arm around me and says
"Stop being a worried mother"
I lean into him and ask
"Do you know where to get DNA tests"
"Really?" He says knowing what I want to do
"Might aswell" I say
"Yeah, I do, I'll go get one tonight" he says
The room is loud form people talking so Peter didn't hear
"What if it's you" he asks
"I'll be the happiest person in the world" I say smiling at him
"What if it was you" I ask
"I'll be the same as you" he says
"If it is us how do we not remember it" he asks
"Well, if it was us then we wouldn't Remember because we would've been wiped by hydra" I say sighing at the fact of remembering hydra
He notices this and pulls me closer
Lunch comes around and we take Peter upstairs with us for it
Bucky isn't having lunch so I ask him to get the DNA tests and he goes
"So, Peter we were wondering if you would like to do a DNA test to see who your parents are" I say
"Okay, when" he asks
"Bucky is going to get it now so in about an hour or 2" I say
Wanda gives playful eye roll
His lunch ends and he goes back down
Peter pov
I go back down and see my whole class lined up, I quickly catch up and my teacher asks
"Mr Parker, where were you" it sounds stern and strict but after his encounter with Bucky, I think he might wanna hold off shouting at me
"I was eating lunch with the avengers" I say
He gives me a squinting look and goes back to the front
The trip goes on and it comes to a Q&A with the avengers
Once we walk in I see all of the avengers, and they see me and smile
Most of the questions were just basics but one stuck out
"Why do you care for Peter"
"Well he's close to all of us and we would consider him family sometimes" Natasha says
"Speak for yourself" tony whispers into his microphone
Everyone in the crowd doesn't get it but it makes me and all of the avengers laugh
It then goes by fairly quickly and while my class is going out I purposely follow behind
Time skip
I get to the end of the day and my class is going out the front and while we are I feel a hand on my shoulder, I turn around to see Bucky
"You might aswell stay here" he says
"Oh yeah" I say and he ruffles my hair
"PARKER" my teacher shouts
"Yeah" I says back
"Where are you going" he shouts
"He'll come back here anyway" Bucky says and my teacher nervously nods and turns back around
(2 hours later)
Bucky turns up with the DNA tests and I give own to Peter
He does some mouth swobs and then gives it back and you would normally have to send it away and they would send results but we live with a top scientist
We go to his lab but before we go in to do it Peter says
"I'm gonna wait out here"
"Okay well tell you after" I says and we walk in
We place the thing into a machine that processes it and prints a piece of paper out bit it's upside down so we can't see it
"You ready" Bucky says holding it
"Yeah" I say
He flips it so we can see and I feel like I was gonna pass out because what I saw was overwhelming
Natasha romanoff and James Buchanan Barnes
I immediately jump at Bucky hugging him he hugs back tightly
We go out to Peter and shows him the certificate and he jumps hugging us
I feel like a family
