Chapter 2

It was a Wednesday and Lola was in a better mood today. Her day had gone much better then yesterday and her friends were relieved that she was better again. After school, Emily and her walked together to a dance company called " Dance is Everything you dream of ." Emily had the experience that Lola wanted but then stopped because they had to move. Lola looked at her watch and was surprised at the time. " It's 5 o'clock Emily, I told my parents I would be home by 5:30. We don't have time, I NEED to go home, maybe tomorrow BYE !" Lola ran home just in time. " Where have you been?" asked her dad in a curious tone. " I...um.....just got back from school." " Then why do you seem so tired, like you've been running." " Because...um.. I ran home, why is that a problem. " replied Lola picking up her confidence. That night, her dad ( John ) thought that she was hiding something from him but wasn't sure what it was. The next morning Lola woke up early and left the house without her dad noticing. When she got outside she ran to the dance school ( as it was always open ) and talked to the receptionist. "Ummm...this is about a dance class...do u have any...ummm...space. in...contemporary?" asked Lola in a shy hesitated voice.
" I would like to join...."

Lola couldn't wait until the end of the day, the bell rang for last period and she ran to dance. Her class was filled with people which she thought she would never be friends with. As the music started Lola knew she would never be able to catch up.
But she wouldn't give up that easily.
Then it hit her.... she was going to start ballet.
