Falling

Part 13.

The night has started and the audience is going crazy. We have played some songs from the new album and start with the intro of Radioactive. This is one of the 2 songs we would do together with Coldplay. As we play they come on and the audience goes nuts. As Chris comes standing next to me with his mic and the other guys get their intruments, Will helping with the drums, I start in with the first verse. It sounds amazing and as everyone joins in at the chorus it just explodes. This is soo cool. It sounds even better than it did at soundcheck. The next verse it's Chris' turn and he sings it even better than I do. As we play all together at the chorus again I can't stop the smile forming on my face. In this moment I have no worries, all my problems seem to disappear and I have never in my life have felt this happy. Who would have guessed that I would be playing with one of my favourite bands? Not me, that's for sure.
It's my time to sing a verse again and I turn to the audience. I sit on the side of the stage and try to interact with them as best as I can. As we get to the hardcore rock part of the song Chris helps me up and I smash against the drum. This feels so amazing and I can't stop smiling. The song comes to an end and we all go off after thanking the audience. When we're backstage I high-five Chris and we both smile from ear to ear. 2 arms sneak around my waist and I look over my shoulder. Of course it was Platz and I kiss him. From the corner of my eye I see that Wayne wants to say something but before he can Chris hits the back of his head. "What was that for?!" Wayne says suprised. "You know what that was for." Chris says and he walks off. I go after him. "Thanx for sticking with us." I say to him. "Don't thank me. He shouldn't act like that. Why haven't you kicked him out of the band yet?" Chris asks me. "We did, but we couldn't find anyone else to play so we took him back in." I say and Chris nods. "I'll ask around. I'm pretty sure I can find someone for you." He says. "You don't have to do that!" I say, shocked that he even offered it. "It's no trouble, I'll help you guys out." Chris says and I just nod. We stand there chatting for a while before someone of their crew shouts that they have to get on. "Good Luck!" I say to Chris as they walk off to go on stage. I hear the fans scream and smile a little. It's just waiting before we have to go on again to sing a song together.

After 1,5 hours have past it's out cue to go back on. We run on, well I'm going as fast as I can and we fall in. We're singing Paradise with them, my favourite Coldplay song. We had worked on it for weeks to make a more rock like version than it already was and tonight would be the big test. Of course we had soundchecked it but never played it with an audience. Chris had started with the first verse and I start in when the word paradise is repeated, and then continued. We sing the chorus together and the fans scream along. I have never been so happy in all my life.
We sing almost the rest of the song together, connecting with the people and stealing glances with our lovers. The song comes to an end and the fans scream their longs out. Platz comes walking towards me and drops to one knee, holding a ring out. The whole arena goes silent while I gasp in shock. "I could be saying all soppy things, but I'll keep it simple. Daniel Coulter Reynolds, will you marry me?" He asks me and looks up at me. For a moment I'm too shocked to ask but I quickly get myself together and answer. "Yes. Yes I Do." I say and he places the ring over my finger. I pull him up and we hug, the crowd going crazy! "This calls for a song!" Chris yells and they start playing One I Love. We move along with the music and the crowd just keeps screaming. It dies down a little and we just look in each others eyes. Chris and Jonny stand beside us and they look at each other. you're the one I love. Chris sings to him but we are the only ones knowing the true meaning behind it. It wasn't just a song lyric, what he was saying was the truth. But the crowd didn't know, and I wonder if they ever will. The song comes to an end and me and Platz kiss before going off stage with everyone else.
"That was amazing mate!" Ben says and he gives me and Platz a hug. "I knew that this day would come!" He says and walks off happily. I look over to where Chris and Jonny are standing. They are kissing and Will and Guy are just standing there in shock. Well, Will more than Guy. "I knew it!" Guy yells and I smile. I turn back to Platz and we kiss as well. This day couldn't get any better, and I'll remember this for the rest of my life.

//A.N. This is the End! Yes I know right, only drama the whole book long and then this soppy end? Well I can tell you I enjoyed writing this part more than the rest of the book! So maybe I'll write a 3rd part. I don't know about that just yet... I hope you enjoyed it! Bye!! Xx //
