Rebecca and Lilith began to pierce through the atmosphere of Owari, reaching terminal velocity. Their ship, the Celestial Fin was slowly breaking away from the high speed that they were at.
"Goddammit, Rebecca! I told you to refuel at the last station!" Lilith yelled at Rebecca.
"Well go shove it! They said it was fine for taking off!" Rebecca yelled back, trying to steer the Celestial Fin to a safe location.
As the two were trying to get their ship away from blowing up, Lilith picked up a large city underneath them on the Celestial Fin's scanner.
"Yo Rebecca! There is a city underneath us called Crest Fall, a massive city and overall pretty advanced. We can park down there if we adjust position and slow down the ship."
"Well then? You're running the targeting system! Set a course to land wherever there is a place to land!"
Lilith quickly messed around with the ship's targeting, flipping as many switches as she could. It quickly locked onto an open landing pad that had construction around it. She nervously looked at Rebecca and then back at the targeting system. Lilith didn't want to bother her and let the Celestial Fin do its work.
As the ship made a rough landing onto the landing pad, Rebecca packed as many fragile valuables into her bag as possible. Lilith tried to relax before landing or else she would vomit all over the ship.
The Celestial Fin soon made the landing, if you could call it that. One of the landing gears didn't activate so it left the ship lopsided and dented. Both Rebecca and Lilith exited the Celestial Fin. Rebecca put her hands on her head after she saw the condition the Celestial Fin was in.
"No, no, no, no, no! Goddammit!" Rebecca, felt like collapsing onto her knees, "I spent so much damn money on that ship!"
Lilith put her hand on Rebecca's shoulder, "It's alright, we'll find parts for the Celestial Fin. Then we fix the landing gear, gas up and then we leave."
"Yeah, I guess you're right." Rebecca calmed down.
Then a resident of Owari wearing a construction outfit ran up to the pair, holding a piece of paper.
"Hello there, I am here to give you this." He handed them the piece of paper.
Lilith took it and read through it quickly, her jaw dropped, "500 caps!"
Rebecca snatched the paper out of Lilith's hand to confirm what she heard, "Holy hell you are right! Why do we have this fine!"
The worker replied, "Well, one reason is that you parked in an area which is under construction. Two, you have malfunctioning landing gear. And finally, you broke the landing pad."
"We did?" Rebecca and Lilith said together. They looked behind them to see that the landing pad was cracked and damaged.
"As you can see this will total for 500 Capital which I don't know how two visitors will ever get that kind of money. Welp, have a good day!" The worker left in a hurry to back to his station, leaving Rebecca and Lilith with blank faces.
"How are we supposed to get this money?" Lilith turned to face Rebecca.
Rebecca looked at Lilith with a concerned expression, "Well I mean we have no caps. So what are we to do?" she clutched the bag of valuables.
"What's in the bag, Rebecca?"
"Nothing..."
"Please tell me, that in that bag you have the valuables that were on the ship," Lilith asked.
Rebecca replied, "I do have the valuables, specifically the Eye of Diavolo!"
"Holy hell we could sell that for a good price!"
