"Wanna some coffee?" a tall, lanky guy plopped down on the steps, holding out a cup of coffee he'd bought from a nearby vending machine.
"Yeah", Sehun nodded his head in the affirmation and taking a cup of hot drink, sipped the most delicious part of this semblance of coffee, foam.
"You didn't come to training yesterday, what did you do?"
"I finally found a part-time job. Yesterday was the first day, so I didn't want to be late."
"Really? And what's it?" the guy's large eyes widened in surprise.
"Chanyeol, do you remember you told about the Kim family, the ones who live in the area where the private houses are near the river, and the head of the Kim family is a deputy, I think?" Sehun looked at the other man, who pondered for a moment, then nodded back. "So it's them who offered me a gig. Myself in shock, all it takes is to walk their son's dog."
"Wait," the young man who was named Chanyeol chuckled, "Have they really offered you a job? Wow, they're rich! They have some business; I heard that their son runs it. Are you going to walk his dog?"
"No, they have another son, as it turned out. He's a year older than us, and he's entered the Uni this year."
"I think so too." The dark-haired man chuckled, sipping his coffee again. "By spring, I will definitely collect the remaining amount for the bike."
"Well then, next time coffee on you." The guy got to his feet, picking up a battered backpack with a pair of sneakers sticking out of it. "And not some cheap one, do you hear me? But from a real coffee shop!"
Chuckling cheerfully, Chanyeol slung his backpack over his back and hurried off to his last class. The bell rang, inviting students to sit down at their desks again, so with a heavy sigh Sehun threw the empty coffee cup into the nearest trash bin and followed his friend into the classroom.
In the final school year, all classes became longer and more difficult. The teachers gave tons of homework and asked things that poor students can't even imagine. One hundred percent attendance and discipline were of major priority and at some point the students felt that they were undergoing ancient prisoners' tortures. The kids in the class looked more and more like zombies, all of them, with red eyes from sitting up too long at school projects at night and dark bags under their eyes from chronic lack of sleep, which even the girls' skin foundation didn't hide.
Chanyeol once noted scowlingly that no one would need costumes for the upcoming Halloween, because half of the class would just not come to the party and sleep it off, and the others would come crawling in, and it would be like the rise of the dead. But the worst thing is that it was just autumn, and the final exams are still far away, which means that the pressure will continue.
