I turned around and walked away I knew Dejuane was definitely smirking at what I said to Monte. I walked to the car and waited I was getting soaked cause I gave Trent back his umbrella.

After 20 minutes I knew I was gunna have a cold I walked back to the field and see all the boys standing under and umbrella with windbreakers on.

Y/n-" dejuane come here pls."

He walked over to me

Dejuane-" yeah?"

Y/n-" Ik you know that after I told Monte he wasnt gunna get my number you saw me walk to the car. You have the keys and the doors are locked. Now look at me I'm soaked and I have a stuffy nose so Ik Imma be sick."

We walked to the car and started going back to Dejuanes house. As he was driving I started sneezing and coughing.

Dejuane-" oh you really are sick, um imma stop at the store rq ok."

He drove to Target and got out. I waited for 10 minutes until he finally came out with so many bags.

He loaded the stuff into his trunk and got in.

Y/n-" what did you get?"

Dejuane-" oh I got you chips, chocolate, fuzzy socks, a fuzzy blanket, soda, medicine, and face masks."

Y/n-" dejuane you didn't have to do that."

Dejuane-" well I'm the reason you got sick so it's the least I can do🥺"

I didn't care if dejuane likes me or not I reached over and held his hand while he drove back to his house. When we pulled up to his house he unlocked the door and grabbed the bags.

I followed him upstairs, he laid all the stuff on his bed.

Dejuane-" also the face masks are for both of us cause we can take."

Y/n-" dejuane last time we took photos you got mad at me. So pls don't yell at me this time ok."

I said while on the verge of tears

Dejuane-" aww I won't I'm sorry I yelled at you last time."

He said that while he walked over and hugged me.

We hugged for a good minute. When we pulled away I was blushing.

I said while burring my head into dejuane chest.

After we pulled away I started sneezing again.

Dejuane-" ok get over here and do these face masks. And when we take photos the last one I want you to go with the flow. Ok?"

I walked over to the face masks and grabbed the bottle. I walked over to dejuane and grabbed his hand and walked him to the bathroom.

Y/n-" sit on the counter so I can reach your face."

He hopped up on the counter. I started applying his mask and the whole time he just stared at me.

Dejuane-" I get to put yours on you."

Y/n-" ok, I'm done with yours"

He jumped down and grabbed my waist and put me on the counter. While he was applying my mask he got a call.

Dejuane-"Hold up it's the boys."

He answered the phone and I saw his whole football team on the group call.

Dejuane-" what's up boys."

Boys-" Dejuane wtf is on your face."

Dejuane-" oh me and y/n were doing face masks."

He just talked to them and I got annoyed so I finished applying my own face mask. I walked out the bathroom into his room and went on my phone.

After 10 minutes he finally came back in the room, but he was still in ft. He didn't even look at me. Aw man old Dejuane is back.

After ig 15 minutes he finally hung up.

Dejuane-" hey sorry bout that but the boys come first."

Y/n-" mhm"

Dejuane-" are you mad at me or something?"

Y/n-" well I mean I had to apply my own mask. And I thought we were gunna take photos?"

I grabbed my wallet and put 30$ on his bed and grabbed my stuff and started walking downstairs.
