Imagine: A Writing Contest {Closed}

One thing I like about having a small account, is that when a contest is created, followers have the time enter before all the spots are taken, because there aren't many followers to begin with.

In honor of hitting 28 followers, I have decided to create a fun writing contest that includes prizes. 

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS I KNOW IT'S LONG BUT IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT TO KNOW IF YOU WANT TO ENTER THE CONTEST.

How this will work is:

I need a minimum of 8 people for the contest to work. 15 people maximum. Each who will need to follow certain steps to enter (I explain farther down). Starting on Tuesday, May 3rd 2021, I will post a chapter explaining how the contest will begin, so I recommend all participants to turn on their notifications on that day.

How the contest itself will work:

The just of the competition is the participants will be writing a short story, and will be graded on three primarily components: Quality of Writing, Creativity, and Relatability to the Theme.

On Wednesday, I will post the topic or theme that you will use to write a short story. The participants then have a until the end of May 10th to write their story and submit it. That's 8 days.

Due Date: May 10th (You have the entire day of May 10th to submit if you haven't already).

How to submit your short story:

Personal Message (PM) me your story here on wattpad. Perferly via copy and paste. If you are having problems PMing me, please do tell me on my conversation feed, and I will figure something out.

How the contest will be graded:

I will read everyone's short story, and then post them here (if you are entering this contest, know that your short story will be published here). Then all participants will PM me which story you think is the best. Remember to vote based on Quality of Writing, Creativity, and Relatability to the Theme.

REMEMBER: YOU CAN'T VOTE FOR YOURSELF.

ONLY PARTICIPANTS CAN VOTE.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO VOTE!!!

Voting shall take place for the duration of two days. The last chance to vote is on May 13th, at the end of the day.

I will tally up the votes for who was voted for first place.

In the event of a tie, the winners will both receive that place, along with its prizes.

If there are less then five participants that have been voted for, then I will choose the remaining participants by grading them just like you will. 

The winners will be posted on May 14th.

Short Story Information:

Must be 200 words minimum - 2000 words maximum.

Your characters and story must be unique and original.

Swear words are allowed, just as long as there isn't any offensive language.

Entering Rules:

Age Requirement: 13 years old or older (obviously because those under 13 aren't supposed according to Wattpad guidelines to be on Wattpad).

If you want to join the contest, you have to comment under this chapter;

~ Your username

~ Your pronouns (so I can address you correctly)

~ Your favourite genre of books

~ Your favourite book (yes I know it will be hard to choose, but I'm curious).

After commenting, you have to boost this contest on your Announcements. 

If I see that you boosted this contest, I'll reply to your comment. If I reply then your in.
