Kaiden Stallard. Still feeling my head spin from the alcohol. But I finally knew the name of the mysterious brother from the night before.

"Where are we going?" I question. He licks his lips before turning to fixate his attention to me.

"You ask a lot of questions." He lets out with a light chuckle.

Groaning and leaning back in the seat. I look out the window watching the blur of passing buildings. I started closing me eyes. Kaiden not daring to bother me. And just like that, before I know it, I doze off to sleep.

"Ari." I hear Kaiden's voice echo, not caring. I went straight to sleep. The alcohol laying me straight out.

I wake up to my knowledge and I see darkness. What time was it and where was I? My head was pounding in pain, letting out a small groan. All I remember was Kaiden walking me out the club. I should say forced me out. My brain still trying to process everything. I hear two men talking outside the room I was in. Their voices getting closer and closer.

"Can't believe you brought her here." One man said.

"I didn't have a choice. Regardless, I am the boss." The other mans voice said. "I do as I please."

I quickly acted like I was asleep. Still listening to them exchange words. The one sounded a lot like Kaiden. I then hear the door knob twist. My heart pounding. I peek my eye lids open to  see Kaiden walking in and that's when I noticed him looking at me.

"You're up." He stated in surprising tone. Being able to see him faintly from the hall light he had turned on.

"Yeah." I mutter. "I have a splitting headache." I say rubbing my temples. He proceeds to turn the light on to guide him to the bathroom that was in the room which made me finally see the surroundings of the room I was in. The room was nicely placed. And very clean. Much cleaner than my room. Which was odd. Because Harlee always made fun of me for making sure my room was perfect. Most men I knew never picked up after themselves. Left clothes on their floor, and trash on their dressers. I hear rustling in the bathroom; Kaiden digging into the cabinet.

"Whos room is this?" I ask curiously, already knowing the answer.

"Mine." He laughs. "Why?"

"Just wondering." I say, confirming my theory. Which was another great thing about him. He then brings me a water bottle and two Tylenol pills.

I take them graciously. And just like he begins walking back to the door to leave. "Well goodnight Ariana."

"Wait. You are leaving?" I ask. "Can't you stay."

He turns around with devilish smirk making me want to melt in his bed. "I think it's better if I sleep on the couch. Like you said earlier, you barely know me."

"And I agree with you, but I don't feel good and I would feel better with you in here." I say. "Please." He was right. I didn't know him well, but hey you have to start from somewhere. Better yet, I wanted to get to know him. I am best friends with his sister after all. And he's pretty hot. I keep trying to ignore that I saw him kill someone the first night I met him.

"How about this?" He says leaning on his doorway with his arms crossed, "I stay in here until you go back to sleep. His grin showing his perfectly white teeth. Which makes me smile in return.

I shrug, "That'll work, I guess."

He chuckles before shutting his door. And comes to lay on the bed not getting under his covers. I scooted over a little to give him room. Just to make sure he felt comfortable. Which shouldn't matter considering this was his bed.
