Your father..

Is gone.. forever.

I instantly knew what she meant, and a glimmering tear had now ran down my left cheek.

My father, the king of our kingdom, was dead.

I could not believe my own mother for such a thing, even though I trusted her.

"What?" I replied, trying to sound confused.

"Go into the kitchen. See for yourself." My mother replied, letting out another painful sob. Before hugging her, and caressing her back once more, I walked into the kitchen.

I did not want to think that it was true, but as I slowly strolled into our kitchen, where the butlers and maids had taken a break from making breakfast from, my eyes widened.

The next thing I knew, Laying on the floor, a sword in their chest, Blood splattered on the walls and marble floor, eyes still wide open and blood coming out from their torso and mouth,

Was my own father.

"AAAAH!" I screamed in absolute horror.

Even though I didn't have a very much called "perfect" relationship with my father,

I still loved him dearly. I couldn't comprehend what I saw on the floor.

Next thing I knew, I was in my bed once more. Sweat dripping of of my forehead, and tears coming out of my eyes.

I got up, and headed down to my mother. I was told to be calm in this situation, and it seemed that my mother had calmed down too.

"I hired a detective to investigate the scene, and accompany you, as your father cannot do so anymore, and I have to take care of all the duties as royalty." My mother had spoke. "How long will they be staying?" I replied, trying not to sound exited, as I've never had a friend my age before.

"About three months. We have a guest room for them." My mother replied. "Oh, okay mother. I will be trying my best to be polite to them." I said. "They will be arriving later today." My mother added on.
