Y/n's POV:
I spotted Jimin in the hallway, heading to the cafeteria. I ran up to him and hugged him, I expected a hug back but he didn't. I then looked up at him.
"What are you doing Y/n?" Jimin furrowed his brows
"Hugging you?" I replied
"Can you not?" he asked
"Okay..." I stopped hugging him
Yesterday he was being so nice and polite to me, what happened? Actually, I know, it's probably because this isn't his other side.
"Why don't you want me to hug you?" I asked him
"We're at school, Y/n." he sighed
"You sometimes hug me at school, why not now?" I frowned
"I realized that my reputation as a heartbreaker is going down, especially when I'm being flirty with you." he told me
"So all you care about is your reputation?" I said a bit angrily
"I mean, yeah-" I cut him off
"Now I have my reason to hate this side of you, you're so selfish!" I yelled, "All you care about is your reputation, I thought we were friends!"
Jimin's POV:
Before I could say anything, she ran off. She doesn't like this side of me anymore, she said she did yesterday, but not anymore. She likes my softer side better, doesn't she?
Jimin, it was only a hug. I would've hugged her back if my ego didn't get the best of me. Sometimes I hate this side of myself too...
I entered the cafeteria, I spotted Y/n sitting with her friends. She glanced at me with anger in her eyes, but... a little bit of pain? I walked over to Taehyung.
"Hey, you look down, what's wrong?" Tae looked at me
"I think I fucked up." I told him
"With what?" he asked
"My ego got the best of me and now Y/n is mad at me." I sighed
"Explain more." he demanded
"Y/n ran up to me in the hallway and hugged me, I told her to not hug me. She asked why and I said it's because of my reputation." I frowned, "Now she doesn't like this side of me, and thinks I'm selfish, but I care about her."
"What do you mean by this side?" he furrowed his brows
"Oh, she found out about the softer side of me yesterday." I explained
"What did she think about it?" he questioned
"She told me that... I was cute." I said shyly, remembering that moment
"Aww, is Jimin in love?" he teased
"No, of course not." I said
"Then why did you become all shy when you recalled that moment?" he chuckled
"I-I don't know." I stuttered
"You're in love, aren't you?" he laughed
"I don't know, I've never been in love before so how should I know?" I sighed
"You'll know when you are." he said
"Wow, what I great explanation." I said sarcastically
"Trust me Jimin, you'll know when you are." he smiled
"Fine, I'll trust you." I rolled my eyes, "But what do I do about Y/n?"
"I know you don't like showing your soft side in school, but she likes that side, right?" he said
"Yeah...?" I didn't really see where this was going
"Well to put it short, just go up to her and hug her." he told me
"But-" he cut me off
"Shut your ego up at hug her." he glared, "Turn into soft Jimin."
"Okay." I stood up from my seat
I spotted Y/n, but she was alone, where did her friends go? Whatever, I just want to make it up to her.
I went up behind her, she didn't realize I'm there. I sat behind her, so she would be between my legs. I wrapped my arms around her waist and rested my chin on her shoulder.
"Jimin?" Y/n asked a bit shocked
"I'm sorry." I apologized, "I guess my ego got the best of me, I'm so sorry."
"Hey, it's okay." she smiled
"Really? You can stay mad at me if you want." I frowned
"No, no. You're my friend, I can't stay mad at you." she laughed, "You're also very cute when you're like this."
"W-What?" I stuttered
"Don't take it the wrong way." she pinched my cheek
"What's going on here?" Soojin suddenly laughed
"Oh, nothing." Y/n laughed
"Jimin is being very touchy, are you sure?" Haru laughed too
I pulled away from Y/n and just sat next to her, slightly embarassed. I glanced over af Y/n, she seemed a bit embarrassed too.
"You two are very touchy, are you sure that's normal for friends?" Haru asked
"We're just different." Y/n chuckled
"Right, but Jimin acts like he owns you." They looked at me
"Well I do." I shrugged
"No you don't." Y/n glared at me
"Oh princess, do you want me to remind you who you belong to?" I smirked
"Yah, no!" she whined
"I'm joking, calm down." I chuckled
She punched me playfully, I laughed at her actions. Am I in love? I'm not sure...
